If you follow us on Instagram, you have seen our news that the Evergreen house is finished and we have officially started staging! Every day we are getting furniture deliveries and we plan to roll out reveal posts as we finish each of the rooms in this 2600 sq ft flip house! First up is the hallway smack-dab in the middle of the house that we decorated with finds from Wayfair! They are having a huge Memorial Day sale and most of these pieces are an extra great deal this weekend! Furniture pieces are up to 60% off and decor items are up to 70% off!! And don’t forget they always offer free shipping on orders over $49!

This space is between the mudroom and the kitchen and we wanted to create a drop zone area here with a console table, a mirror and a pretty rug. We love to source from Wayfair for all of our projects. It’s amazing that basically any type of home decor or furniture that I have in mind, I can easily find on the site! Their search functions are especially awesome, making it easy to navigate the literal millions of inventory items. I only had 40″ of wall space for a console table on the stair well wall and I was able to find this pretty one so quickly! It was also super affordable and came in only two days!

Lately I’ve also been using Wayfair to source all of our faux trees and greenery that we use in our photos. I have found the prettiest high-end looking greenery! The arrangement in the clear glass vase was a DIY I shared in my stories today and I love how it turned out!

Here are all the links to shop this sweet little space and also some more Wayfair finds that are on super sale this weekend! Make

sure you are following along with the rest of our Evergreen House reveals to see which other pieces made the cut!

  1. I love that flooring- I’m up to my ears in samples right now trying to find that perfect medium tone. You did great!

      1. I am having a hard time locating a dealer that sells that flooring, I am in NC, is there a dealer that you used?

        Thanks,
        Martha

  2. Jenny, I’m not certain how to comment on insta-don’t use social media that much-but I wanted to say a HUUUUUUUGE thank you for being real about budgets. For a long time I’ve wished that people doing renos and putting there stuff out there for the world to see would just be honest about the price-as hard as that is. And in your story you didn’t come across at all like you were afraid you would. I’m so thankful that you were as real as you were. It’s a reality check and very helpful to me, at least. The one question I have is do/did you consider resale value when planning your reno? You mentioned making it your dream home, so I wonder if that was just not so much a consideration? You mentioned some people spend up to $200k on a kitchen-or was it house? reno and well, that really changes the price and value of things! Anyhow, thank you for all your posts-I’m a very long time reader. Take care!

    1. Hi Brittany! Thanks for your note! I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed those stories! I am not too worried about resale with our own personal house because we plan to live there for a really long time, if not forever. In general though, I definitely think it’s important to not over-renovate for your area. We have a lot of equity in our home so I think we would be okay even spending $200k if we had to move soon, so that helps me feel better. But most importantly, I really want to love the home we’re in now! We saved for a long time to be able to pay cash for the work, so I feel good about it! :)

  3. Hi! I just found you on IG and I love, love, love what you are doing with this project!! That inky board-and-batten — swoon!! I also love your interior wall/trim paint combo, with the white walls and just off-white trim. What paint is it? It’s exactly what I’m looking for in my own home!! Thank you for being so inspiring. ~Angela~

      1. Thank you!!! I had been thinking I might use SW High Reflective White and Westhighland White and the Interwebz says that’s pretty close, but I might try Greek Villa. Some people think it’s a closer match to Seapearl. Thank you again!!

  4. Love this mirror – when I click the link, it just takes to me to the wayfair homepage. Does that mean it is sold out or was there a problem with the link? Thanks!

  5. Hi Jenny!
I love your work so much and you’ve been such an inspiration for years! Can you share any details about the stairway railing in the evergreen project? I love how simple the one you used is. We are looking to do something similar in our very similar staircase. Where did you get the wood from and are the pieces attached to the wall wooden too? Thank you!
    Alexis

  6. I know this is an older post, but can you give any details about the wood flooring? It’s gorgeous!
