To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.

  1. We are always working to improve our home ever since we bought it as a foreclosure 4 years ago. We love the home depot! Our current projects are installing heat in our playroom, redoing our master bathroom and getting baby girl's room ready for when she no longer sleeps in ours. Thank you for the chance to win!

  2. $500 from Home Depot would go a long way in helping us put a nice glass tile backsplash in our kitchen! Or maybe some patio paver stones to create a walkway to our front door. Or maybe put it towards a new bathroom vanity. So many options!

  3. Paint the guest room, new tiles in te bathroom, floor in the entryway, countertops for the kitchen, paint some furniture!! omg sooo many projects…so little money lol@

  4. Thanks for hosting the giveaway! If I won the $500 would go towards a much needed bathroom makeover. Wallpaper removal supplies, new vent fan (glamorous, right?), new toilet, new light, etc. It's been taunting me for more than a year.

  5. I could paint the remaining rooms in our house and pull up the builder's carpet that my husband complains about on a daily basis! He refuses to go into our closet because of it!

  6. If I won this incredible giveaway, I'd blow through that $500 quickly since we just bought a house in Tempe, AZ (your neighbors!) and it needs a lot of work!

  7. We just moved to a new old house and every room needs some love! Where to start? 500$ would go along way to refreshing the paint on the doors, walls and trim, and maybe help with some lighting updates!

  8. Hi, I would "finish" my backyard seating area with fire pit .
It would be wonderful to get it done to enjoy the holidays with friends and family :-D

  9. Oh wow I would probably replace 7 interior doors with new 3 panel craftsman style doors or put closet doors in my bedroom closet since all it has right now is see through curtains hanging.

  10. I've been really anxious to buy raw wood and make my own piece of furniture…my Ana White how-to book gives me a mean eye every day since I've yet to attempt one project from it. BUT with this money I could easily invest in all the supplies I need!!!

  11. I just found your blog through a YouTuber…..
I would love it if I won. I have so many little projects that need to be done. I think the priority would be my 3 yr old's room. We moved into our home when he was a couple months old, renovated other parts of the house but never got to do his room. He doesn't complain but it makes me feel badly that my little one doesn't have a nice bedroom.
    Thank you for hosting this!

  12. I would love to repaint the whole apartment. (previous tenants had interesting paint choices) and get some new lighting. Great giveaway!

  13. I would use it to redo my walk up attic stairs. They are unfinished now and are dangerous to go up and down on. Also, my soon is working on an Eagle project to beautify a large room at a developmental school. We would give him some of the money for that project!!

  14. Oh so much we could do! But we'd probably put updating our master bath high up on the list. Thanks for the opportunity!

  15. I have done next to nothing in our house in the almost three years we have lived there, so it wouldn't be hard to find a use… or twenty… for the money!

  16. Having purchased a home less than a year ago, I could think of a zillion things, but I would probably put the $$ towards window treatments and a light fixture for the sunroom – it hasn't been touched!

  17. What a treat, thanks! We just moved into a fixer-upper, so I can think of about a gajillion and twenty things I could use that Home Depot money toward, probably starting with the kids' bathroom (no tub in a kids' bathroom?!). Thanks again!

  19. i would use it all to fix my tiny master bathroom – we're in desperate need of a facelift that i cant convince my husband to fund!

  20. I'm in the process of re-organizing my pantry and garage, so I would be very excited to pick out new containers and shelving units!
