Oh my, I would actually love to try doing your faux bois treatment on the terrible, old wood paneling in my new (and very first) home! I have a soft spot in my heart for wood paneling, but the current version is so drab. I am looking for a budget-saving trick that I can use until I can afford nicer wood paneling. I love the warmth the faux bois treatment gives to the room!

Oh goodness! With a $500 Gift Card to Home Depot, I would turn the old headboard frame my boyfriend has laying around into a chalkboard for our garden area, Wallpaper a couple of walls to bring a pop of color, Make some outdoors pillows for our seating area, and replace the light fixtures… the sad sad light fixtures into more contemporary fixtures.
Oooh this would be amazing – moving in with my boyfriend next week and we need a LOT of things for our little place. Let's start with building a headboard and maybe even an armoire??

we just moved across country, too, and our list is never ending…I'd take down all of the cheesy blinds that are all over the house and replace with bamboo or matchstick blinds. the previous owners also did a lot of DIY board and batten and they took a lot of short cuts. It's on my list to finish things off and make them look more professional, or at least I'm aiming to make it look more an intentional part of the house and have if flow more – a $500 Home Depot gift card would be incredible. And I HAVE to do an MDF laundry folding shelf on top of my washer/dryer! I'm a faux bois nut and already have a faux bois rug, but I could sneak it in the laundry room!
