Plug-In Sconce Roundup

We love wall sconces here at Juniper! They make every space look more designed, more expensive and more layered. While hardwire sconces look great, they usually require hiring an electrician to run wiring for permanent installation. Plug-in sconces give you the same look, but with less commitment and way easier installation!! sconce  //  bed  // …

  1. These are so beautiful and sculptural but I am only noticing one that has a diffused, comfortable light (the white glass globe & brass). Any tips on practical use of metal/opaque shaded, open ended types of fixtures? I can only imagine them not being literally painful if installed below eye level, which gets pretty low when you are sitting in a seat or in bed! Do you guys use these with super dim wattage for ambient light only?? Curious for real!

    1. I second this question! I love the look but I have a hard time using them in real life. Also, any tips for how high to hand a sconce? Are there any rules? Thanks!

    2. Everyone will have a different preference here, but I think it’s also a lot about bulb wattage and temperature! Use a really low wattage and warm bulb for a softer glow!

  2. Love so many of them! Thank you. Wondered what your advice would be about where to place them in my guest room. I have two twin beds with a window between them. Each of the beds are directly against the room’s side walls.

  3. Love these ideas, Jenny! Any chance you could share more details on the living room sofa? Looks so cozy, and I love the carved legs :)
