A few months ago, we ordered this swing for a client project (hanging above a set of white shiplapped built-in bunkbeds- heart eyes!) There are so many cool swings out there right now. I’m still thinking of a space in my house where I could make this happen but in the meantime, here are some of my favorite inspo images.
In a playroom or master bedroom, kids room or family room, indoor swings add such a sweet and playful touch to a space, don’t you think? Here are two great DIYs I stumbled upon if you’re in the mood to make:
Woven Swing DIY via Park & Cube
And an Tree Swing DIY via The Merrythought (some great DIY’s happening over there!)
And if you don’t feel like busting out the heavy duty yarn or chop saw- here is a roundup of my favorite swings I came across while sourcing for this client.
Do any of you have a swing in your home? I’d love to see it! We have a new email address for sharing projects like this. If you have a space you’d love to share with our readers, shoot an email to hello@littlegreennotebook.com with photos!
P.S. Unexpected Art and A Chalkboard Table DIY to bring out the playful side of interiors today.

You should check out Chairloom’s custom porch swing! Custom upholstery heaven. http://www.chairloom.com/porch-swings Might be a great way to incorporate the outside and inside.
I brought a swing chair similar to #7 back with me from Nicaragua (it cost the equivalent of $10!). But since I live in an NYC rental I have it hanging more as a decorative piece than an actual chair. One day…!
Here are a ton of these chairs for 125 if anyone!
