To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.

  1. Wow, I'm loving all of the great DIY projects from this series! I'm planning to try the concrete countertops and would love to add a few more touches to our bathroom with the Home Depot gift card!

  2. I'd looove to have this! I would finish up my Market space for October (a boutique) and then paint my bedroom and reno my bathroom! (As reno as you can get by renting.)

    Thanks for the chance!

  3. I would love to redo my back porch! It is so bare right now, and it's dying for a cozy renno in time for Fall! Rocking chairs and a fire pit are a few things I have in mind!

  4. I would use it towards fixing up our yard. We just moved into a new house and the yard and deck need a lot of TLC!

  5. AH! This would be so great- we are currently light fixtureless in our kitchen renovation! I could definitely find something great at Home Depot to light it up :)

  6. Closet doors would be a lovely addition in our home! :) I'd also check out the flooring and bathroom sections. We have a long way to go before our home is ready for selling.

  7. $500 could go a long ways towards updates around the house. Laundry room…tile back splash in my kitchen, new hardware on my cabinets…what couldn't I do with $500 from the Home Depot?

  8. I would buy pine planking for our living room floor! Or use it to begin re-vamping our laundry room. Or…
    Thanks for a great giveaway!

  9. What wouldn't I do with $500 to the Home Depot? Paint my bedroom, buy new (and much-needed) patio furniture, tile something (anything!), and/or organize a closet or two…

  10. Oh the possibilities are endless… new light fixtures, some paint jobs, my mind is spinning with ideas on how I could use that gift card!

  12. The question should be, "what wouldn't you do with a $500 Gift card from Home Depot." There are so many ideas I and that giftcard sure would come in handy. Updating fixtures, small updates to bathroom, and I am desperately wanting to turn a closet or small area into a DIY crafting room!!!

  13. I'd paint and add more shelves to 'customize' and 'pretty' my boyfriend's laundry closet BEFORE I move in… He's got ONE dinky shelf above the washer/dryer!? ONE!Thx.

  14. Hmmm….I would LOVE to update my tiny powder room with a new toilet, a new pedestal sink, some new lighting and new paint!

It's a small project and $500 would sure put a big dent in the budget.

  16. I just bought my first home and t eh laundry is decidedly functional and unglam. I'd LOVE to get a new utility sink and rig up a hanging wall-drying station. Oh, and paint, of course!

  17. I would spend $500 at Home Depot in a flash. The money would go towards building shelves and storage for our extensive collections (books, vinyl, cds, fabric, woodworking tools, antique bottles, shoe making tools, soldering gear, effects pedals, the list goes on…) in our new apartment. My husband and I are moving in September and my budget for spacial renegotiation is slim bordering on nil.

  18. We are finally moving into our new to us (but built in 1890) house that we gutted and totally renovated. We are pretty much been living at home depot and still have tons of little projects so we would put this to good use for sure!

  19. With $500 from Home Depot, I would rehab my deck and truly make my rear screened porch a refuge space. Love looking at my banana tree in the back!

  20. We are planning to move to be closer to our children, and I would finish getting our house "show" ready! Or better yet, I would use it on a new house!

  21. I would LOVE LOVE a gift card to the Home Depot to re-do an empty spare room in our house. Eventually it will be a little nursery, but for now I would love to paint it and make it a little study with a desk. I love Home Depot!!!
