Today is the very last day to enter to win a laundry room e-design from yours truly which comes with a $5000 Mastercard gift card and a year’s supply of Tide. I hope you’ve entered already (and here’s the link in case you haven’t!).
In celebration of the laundry room makeover contest, The Home Depot is giving you a second chance to win something special today – a $500 gift card!

To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.

Contest ends Monday, August 26 at midnight. Winner will be contacted via email. Good luck! (And don’t forget to enter the EXTRA BIG give away here!)
Thanks to The Home Depot and P&G for sponsoring this post series. And thank you for supporting the companies that collaborate with me on LGN posts. :)
We just moved into a new home two weeks ago, and that $500 would be amazing in tackling our giant "to-do" list. The very first item that would make our house feel like a home is installing a guest shower. Currently the only shower in the house is in our master bedroom… Go figure.
I was inspired to work on my laundry room after seeing what you did. $500 would be a HUGE help in finishing that room up!
I would use the giftcard to create a patio oasis!
$500 would add the missing light to my bathroom ;)

The mister and I would love to redo our kitchen/dining room; knock down a few walls and connect the two rooms, and redo the counters and cabinets. We bought an old house (built circa 1920) so every room is ready for a makeover!
Thanks for the chance to play!
Meg
We could use the $500 to spruce up our porch!
I would start the process of transforming my laundry area from a cave with cobwebs to a brighter, more organized space.
We're in the middle of building a tiny, 160 sq foot, house and Home Depot has become our second home the last couple if month This would go a good ways toward our flooring or supplies for plumbing and electrical!
I would use it towards building a playhouse for my daughter!
It would go towards our kitchen countertops that we are about to change!
I would update my little kitchen; where I am most of the day! Thanks Jenny.
The possibilities are endless! We are in the process of an entire home renovation with limited funding, so it's likely a 5-10 project. The $500 gift card from Home Depot would be a blessing!
If I won, definitely would use it on installing canned lighting in kitchen and living room.
I'd use a $500 gift card to the Home Depot to finish the last few items in my kitchen – backsplash, open shelves, and hardware.
french doors for my kitchen!
I would probably use it on closet and basement organization. Or wait until spring and garden the heck out of my yard.
One word….countertops! (Is that really two words?)
I would give our bathroom a facelift complete with beadboard and new paint!

I'm sure I could blow the whole thing on plants for the balcony on the new apartment we're moving in to next month!
We bought our first house (a traditional ranch) 5 months ago and are in the process of de-1965-ing it all ourselves. I've used so many LGN tricks along the way too! :) $500 to Home Depot would be put to good use for sure. I'd use it to build a floating mantel for the awesome but giant 60's style brick fireplace in our family room and I would rent a drum sander, floor edger and buffer so I can refinish the very well worn hallway floors myself.
What I could do!!!!! I would get the supplies to start the redo of our "backhouse" and make it a fun art studio instead of the dilapidated sad little house that is is….I just need Jenny to take it to the next level and make it fun!
I would tackle my mother-in-laws kitchen. Since we are living with them until we find our own home I would love to give them an updated kitchen since that is the place where we hang out the most.
I would love to replace the door handles to our bedroom and bath – they are brass while the hardware in the bathroom is nickle – drives me nuts!
I would use the $500 to re-do our upstairs porch. It is in dire need of a make over.
I would use the gift card to fund my own DIY kitchen redo – the situation is desperate!
I would buy a nail gun! It would make an upcoming crown job so much easier!!
I need to update my entry way and laundry room. New tiles and paint and shelving is desperately needed.
$500 to HS = $500 of lighting upgrades in my bedroom. The landlord pulled out the ceiling fan fixture a month ago and there's still exposed wires hanging out!
xoD
$500 would be great for my project list. I think new paint would be the first one to tackle.
I think we'd put to toward my sister-in-law's house–we're adding a bathroom to their attic!

I'd love a new dishwasher. One that can fit MANY more dishes!
We just bought a house so the possibilities are endless! We'll definitely need paint and light fixtures…
I would tile out powder bath and our kitchen backsplash.
My husband and I live in an apartment, so we can't change too much, but we'd love to paint! It would definitely be a huge improvement from our plain white box.
If I won the $500 Home Depot card I would use it to fix my own dingy laundry room. It's in my garage and could use some nice updating. I will keep my fingers crossed!
Home Depot has some great light fixtures right now. I'd get rid of these ugly builder lights I have.

I would use the money to get some new countertops in my bathroom!
I love your blog! If I win the gift card I will buy supplies to mosquito-proof my back patio.

I would buy new countertops for my bathroom—they are so ugly right now!

I would use this to update our kitchen with some new cabinet hardware and a new sink and a faucet!

Lay new flooring in our living/dining room.
I'd use it towards some hardwood flooring–desperately needed!
We just moved to a pretty small studio apartment in a new city and it's been difficult finding functional and affordable pieces in our aesthetic. The $500 would definitely help us DIY some great functional and stylish solutions!
I'm in desperate need of new counters for our kitchen. Nothing fancy, laminate would be great.
