Today is the very last day to enter to win a laundry room e-design from yours truly which comes with a $5000 Mastercard gift card and a year’s supply of Tide. I hope you’ve entered already (and here’s the link in case you haven’t!).
In celebration of the laundry room makeover contest, The Home Depot is giving you a second chance to win something special today – a $500 gift card!

To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.

Contest ends Monday, August 26 at midnight. Winner will be contacted via email. Good luck! (And don’t forget to enter the EXTRA BIG give away here!)
Thanks to The Home Depot and P&G for sponsoring this post series. And thank you for supporting the companies that collaborate with me on LGN posts. :)
I would love to update my bathroom. New tile in the shower. Light fixture!!
Kate
If I won the Home Depot gift card I would help my little brother with his new apartment – he just moved to NYC around the corner from me. Oh, and repaint my living room a fresh grey. oh and also do something with my kitchen cabinets – yipes the list never ends!
Oh the things I would buy for our new home, namely paint!!
We just did a major rehaul to our house, but we still need $$ for all the little things..trim, more paint, light fixtures, etc!
Our playroom needs a curtain rod, so I'd have my husband make one out of thick dowel rods, then stain it. Looks great where he made one for a bay window in our bedroom!
Kitchen counters or kitchen floor.
I would love having the $500 gift card from Home Depot to pick up some of the power tools you have used doing your DYI projects.
Kitchen counters or kitchen floor.
I would put the $500 into our basement – patch, paint, & seal our concrete floors, build out some storage and start work on our laundry room!
Thanks to all the partners and you for hosting!
I'd get some new tile flooring for the bathrooms and some new light fixtures :D Plus, with a new baby on the way, the Tide products would be nice!
$500 would be a start for new flooring to replace the CARPET in the dining room. It doesn't work well with small children!
I would love to upgrade my countertop in my wash room!
New interior doors! Thanks.
Our current project is landscaping! We have spent all summer pulling weeds and getting our front yard to a clean slate …now we are FINALLY ready to buy some plants! Still a long way to go but would LOVE to win this- our Home Depot is right around the corner :)
I would either replace the lighting in my kitchen or put it towards more storage in my laundry room.
I'd probably add to my Rigid tool attachment library. Loving that little piece of machinery. Since I'm finishing a current project (refurbishing a chair), I might apply the money to my next project, as yet to be determined. :)
We're about to put an offer in on a major fixer upper…so there will be no end to the projects I could fund with $500 from HD!
ohhh! i know EXACTLY what i would do! sliding barn door in our dining room! i have been drooling over those! LOVE your blog! :)
We just closed on our first house. This might not be the most glamorous use but I need new light switches and power outlets throughout, new door knobs/locks. Oh, and we also have no fridge. :)
I might add to my attachments for my Rigid multi-purpose device (currently have sander, driller, and jigsaw). Since I am finishing my current project (refurbishing a chair), I might put the money toward my next project, as yet to be determined. :)
This sounds totally unsexy, but I'd put in better attic access and invest in some DIY attic organization/bins, etc. The only access we have right now is a square hole in the ceiling inside the laundry nook above our dryer. You basically have to do a pull up to get up there—and it's a whole-house-size attic. So much potential.
Our next project is giving our kitchen a facelift. $500 would be very handy!
I would put it towards paint! We just moved into a new house too! Every wall, ceiling, trim needs new paint! Yikes! Pick me!
I would love to win ! We would put up some privacy fencing in our backyard, it would be awesome.
I would update my laundry room and buy a basement door!

I don't have a laundry room that is mine; someday we won't have a shared laundry. So, have a ton of other projects that this could be super helpful!
Currently in the middle of a bathroom/deck/stairs/lighting reno- Home Depot and I are *very* close nowadays. ;) Thanks for the opportunity!
I would love to win! I would purchase paint and wood blinds for our dark basement (I'm thinking a light grey to lighten things up!), and maybe a fire pit!
I feel like the possibilities are endless, I love Home Depot. I would love to make some new bookshelves for my husbands office though!
I'd use the $500 gift card to purchase a bar door from Etsy to seperate our laundry room from a wet bar area, that we are planning to create in an unfinished hallway between our basement family room and full bath.
I would love to put $500 towards something fun like paint or light fixtures, but right now it would probably be used for dry wall and screws. :)
If I won, there would be scattered projects throughout the house. A new light fixture for the kitchen, some shelving and other storage for the girls room, etc.

Would love to win and show you and Home Depot our kitchen remodel. We have been in our house eight years, and have yet to remodel. Need need new counters, backsplash, range, & to paint cabinets. Expensive stuff on a teacher's salary!
Your laundry room has inspired me!! I would love to create a similar space in my own home.
We would use the $500 gift card to purchase a barn door from etsy to use as a divider between the unfinished portion of our basement and a hallway that connects our family room to a full bath.
Your laundry room shows so much creativity. Please explain the faux bois process.
I recently bought a 1950s home and have been having it updated. I would like to use the gift card to buy landscaping material and shrubs to create a natural fence separating my yard and my neighbor's. Also, I'd like to redo part of a the fence.
I'd put the money towards a closet organization system for our soon-to-be daughter's nursery.
I'd put the $500 toward a bathroom renovation! I'm thinking colorful wallpaper for a small powder room. Thanks :) sheena.custer@gmail.com

We're currently trying to find proper cabinetry for our kitchen which mostly has a lot of free-standing and mismatched furniture. This would be an incredibly helpful gift! Thank you so much for doing another giveaway :)

I'd get a new faucet and hardware for my bathroom!
I would redo my bedroom! So many DIY projects I want to try, including a headboard!
What a wonderful giveaway! You have terrific sponsors! If we were to win the giveaway we would purchase a dryer. My husband has gone back to school and we are doing the poor student thing…again…but now with 2 little boys. We hang all of their clothes out on the laundry line but with the amount of laundry we do, it sure would be nice to have a dryer. :)
I'd use the money to update the window treatments in our living room and dining room. I'd also purchase some black out shades for my toddlers bedroom so we can move her in there before baby brother is born!
Storm doors with screens for some fresh air on those nice fall days!
We desperately need to update our horrendous interior doors! Would love to win this!
