To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.

Thanks to The Home Depot and P&G for sponsoring this post series. And thank you for supporting the companies that collaborate with me on LGN posts. :)

  1. No laundry room for us in our TINY NYC apartment, but we are planning a total DIY kitchen reno, and would absolutely put that $500 to good use! XOXO

  2. I have about a million projects that $500 could help with! But I'd probably use it for my next up… a mini bathroom redo (desperately need a new vanity/sink, flooring and paint!!)

  3. My house needs lots of work, but I would finish my new mud room with built in cubby bench, a new laundry sink and move the washer up from the basement to be beside the dryer.

  4. I would build a shelving unit in my bedroom that I've been wanting to do for some time now or buy a new toilet for our master bath. I know so fancy, but its what we need!!

  5. I would put the $500 toward new stackable appliances for our laundry closet. We have decent appliances now, but our water heater is in the closet and we can't access it without taking the dryer out.

  6. I would use the gift card for lots of little projects around our new house! Window treatments, new kitchen sink and counters, paint and the list goes on!

  7. If I won, the money would go towards stripping two rooms of wallpaper, turning one of those rooms into a guest room, and paint to repaint the trim in the master bedroom.

  8. Garage organization!! We just moved into a new home and I am dying to go crazy with a huge pegboard, shelves, hooks, etc. to get our pile of junk organized.

  9. Thanks for the contest – I would probably buy a few light fixtures and maybe my husband and I would try to install some wainscotting in our powder room.

  10. We're moving back into our wonderful old house in two months after being displaced for my husband's work for the past two years. I'm already "looking" at it with new eyes and mentally repainting every room in the house. I also might grow a pair and wallpaper the entryway or dining room. ;)

  11. Two years ago today my husband and I bought are first home– If I won the $500 from Home Depot I'd celebrate by tackling the kitchen desk I've been igorning. I figured I had to live with it until we can do the full kitchen re-do in other two years, but your recent desk makeover inspired me!

  12. I would buy so much paint… and then I would buy so much wood… and remake my porch stairs and repaint them! I'd also get one of those fancy watering hose holders so I no longer have a hose draped all over my backyard…

  13. Some of that dough would definitely go toward paint. We still haven't painted my daughter's "big girl" room although she's been sleeping in it for months, and guests have commented on the paint chips up on the walls in the living room. Embarrassing.

  14. Would love to be able to add more shelving to my laundry room due tot the fact that it's about the size of a closet. Would love to win!
