Today is the very last day to enter to win a laundry room e-design from yours truly which comes with a $5000 Mastercard gift card and a year’s supply of Tide. I hope you’ve entered already (and here’s the link in case you haven’t!).
In celebration of the laundry room makeover contest, The Home Depot is giving you a second chance to win something special today – a $500 gift card!
To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.
Contest ends Monday, August 26 at midnight. Winner will be contacted via email. Good luck! (And don’t forget to enter the EXTRA BIG give away here!)
Thanks to The Home Depot and P&G for sponsoring this post series. And thank you for supporting the companies that collaborate with me on LGN posts. :)
Paint for every wall and ceiling in my house.
I would love to start a huge painting project in my home. Since I can 't afford a professional painter, I'm working up the courage to do it myself! I would buy paint from Home Depot,
I would get some great lighting!
I would install a compact drying rack that folds down from the wall, give the walls a fresh coat of paint, add a little storage, but most importantly, I desperately need new appliances. My dryer doesn't work!
We're buying an old brick fixer-upper and are closing in less than a month. That $500 would sure come in handy!
(P.s. love your ceiling fan fix – we're definitely going to do the same!)
I would do a hall-bathroom makeover!
With a $500 gift card from home depot I would put wainscoting in our hopefully soon to be baby's room!
$500! Easy peasy, I would trip out our stairway and hall leading to our basement. Lighting, paint, woodwork. Fingers crossed!
We just bought our first house, and the laundry list is literally a mile long! This would be such a treat!
Definetly my master bath…it needs help!
$500! Paint, woodwork, light fixtures, fun!
Well I got home today to find our carpet soaking wet from a massive sink leak, so I'd use it to make a dent in some new floors.
Tide and Home Depot! My life for the past ten years! Ten more to go with teenagers! Help!
Tide and Home Depot! Household words since 1995
There are so many projects on my to do list! I'd probably put the gift card towards floor paint and lumber so I can get started on my crraft room in the cellar.
We are hoping to bring a little one into the world by next summer! So we would definitely use this awesome gift card to get his/her nursery ready and cozy :)
Paint and plants!
Paint and plants!
Oh man, I am in the middle of a pottery studio/backyard reno. $500 from Home Depot would buy the slats for my fence AND the beaded board for my patio ceiling (and maybe some haint blue to paint it (like we do in Georgia).
$500 would cover the cost of exterior paint to freshen up our dated bungalow!!
I would use $500 to Home Depot to change out a lot of the hardware that came in our home!
$500 should cover the cost of the exterior paint we need to freshen up our dated bungalow!!
I would use it to reorganize and brighten up my dark pantry!
I'd use the gift card for some painting and window treatments.
I would buy a new set!
I would love a home depot gift card! I would use it to buy new tile and a vanity for our 80's era bathroom :)
This would be fabulous! I would fund a yard project. My yard needs major help and I am so intent on getting it where I want it to be.
We would start buying the finishings for the bathroom we want to do next Spring.
I would buy paint to paint my kitchen cabinets with $509, and some new light fixtures!

I'd love to replace our leaking kitchen faucet. The leak has ruined the countertop and a $500.00 Home Depot gift card would help me solve both of those problems! The staff there is so helpful, I know they'd give great advice on helping us DIY it to stretch our project funding even further!
Great giveaway, Jenny, thanks. I think I would continue the work I started on my laundry room and I love your faux finish on your folding station, so I might try that to hide the top of my washer and dryer and also would pretty up my utility sink with a nice faucet.
Probably some new exterior lighting!
Curtains, ceiling fans, paint – I move recently and my house needs a lot of work!
Pick me! Pick me! I'd fun a project to refinish our wood floors.

If I won, I would create a much needed kitchen pantry in our now, blocked off, empty stairwell which is wasted space. I would paint and add shelving for small appliance storage. :)
I would give it to my wonderful sister-in-law for her birthday as she is moving (at the same time) into a new apartment and is very DIY/crafty!

I would put the $500 toward a kitchen remodel. Thanks for the opportunity. rwdhad@comcast.net
We would create our nursery.
I would use the $500 to add tongue and groove paneling to the sad dry walled niches and insets throughout our home. It would add that coastal, architectural nod the home lacks. I love reading your blog. It has inspired me to "take action." ;-)
With a 500 dollar gift card I would buy some new lighting and a new ceiling fan for my newly updated living room.
If I win the $500 gift card to Home Depot I will continue to renovate my house. I want to focus on a guest bedroom!
I'd put it toward refinishing our basement–including my laundry area!
I would buy a washer!
Have been meaning to make a new custom headboard for a while now! Fingers crossed.
I would buy a washer!
I would use the $500 gift card to continue renovating my fixer upper!!
If I won the $500 card I would invest in a steamer and finally get the awful wallpaper off our bedroom walls and refresh it.
