Today is the very last day to enter to win a laundry room e-design from yours truly which comes with a $5000 Mastercard gift card and a year’s supply of Tide. I hope you’ve entered already (and here’s the link in case you haven’t!).
In celebration of the laundry room makeover contest, The Home Depot is giving you a second chance to win something special today – a $500 gift card!
To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.
Contest ends Monday, August 26 at midnight. Winner will be contacted via email. Good luck! (And don’t forget to enter the EXTRA BIG give away here!)
Thanks to The Home Depot and P&G for sponsoring this post series. And thank you for supporting the companies that collaborate with me on LGN posts. :)
I would use it to make our basement family room into an awesome playroom with chalkboard walls, toy bins, and a craft center.
WOW….. 500.00 bucks would finish the bathroom vanity project BEFORE hosting family Christmas! Best of luck to all!

I have a headboard DIY I'd love to try…that gift card would come in handy for that!!
We would use it to replace our back door – currently the window opening is covered in plywood. And add a screen door for easier use of the back yard in the summer time.
I am actually working on a laundry room redesign right now also. We need 2 full walls of cabinetry plus a third wall to function as a mudroom. Of course, if there's any money leftover, I have a whole house that needs work!
I am in the process of updating my kitchen and a $500 gift card would certainly be welcome! Thanks for the opportunity to enter.
So much I could do! I would probably regrade the back and front yard and then do landscaping–thinking stone walls and a New England style garden…
It would be AMAZING to win a gift card to Home Depot! I would get supplies to paint my house!!

Its back to school time and all I can think about is how uninspiring my kids rooms/desks are. With $500 from Home Depot I would create storage, reading nooks and a place to inspire creativity and learning!
A $500 gift card to the Home Depot would go straight to materials for a kitchen facelift!
I would buy granite to replace the faux marble in our master bath.
I love all the Arizona house projects you have been posting! I was just at Home Depot dreaming about all the projects I wanted to do. $500 would sure help me finish many of them…including painting my office desk, updating and fixing several light fixtures in our home that have died, and buying a few trees to shade our hot Arizona backyard.
We're in the middle of an office re-do so that $500 would go a long way! Fingers crossed!
A couple of months ago I moved into an old victorian home I have so many projects to do. The $500 would go towards a bathroom renovations for my daughters.
I have so many things to update I don't even know where to begin! But I'd probably use it to update my laundry room since the prize money would cover the entire thing!
Oh man, I would rip down the plastic wall covering in our guestroom…and use the $500 gift card to repair whatever it is that's hiding underneath there!
We are just getting ready to update the little sunroom on our 40s cape cod style house. I think $500 would just about do it :) Thanks!
I would love to win so we can put a backsplash in our new kitchen!
Patio furniture! I need new outdoor seating…
I would put $500 towards a new refrigerator, a side by side, where you could actually open the doors all the way in the crazy-tight space for the fridge!
Having an apartment means I don't have that much control over the physical space- but I always love doing projects with my thrifted furniture to make them really feel like they're mine!
I would fix up my kids room. We just had a house fire, and while we are all fine, our house, and especially our kids room, not so much.
I would love this. We are just about to get married and are broke as a joke… our laundry room looks like a meth lab and would LOVE to get some oomph from the depot.
With $500 to HD I would give my parents house a little TLC!
I would add shelves in my (currently useless) closet, and build a window seat! :)
I would put it towards a new refrigerator that we desperatly need.
I would put $500 toward a new side by side refrigerator, so we could actually open the doors all the way in the crazy-tight space where the fridge goes!
With $500 to THD I would give my parents house a little TLC!
My bathroom so needs an update, it's hideous!
My laundry room needs a make over asap. I spend so much time in there now that I've had a baby (how they create so much laundry is beyond me!).
I am such a fan….your blog is the one I have been reading almost every day this year, and believe me….I have read a lot of blogs! (I have had one myself for over 7 years now!)
I love the ideas you come up with, and it just so happens I need a laundry room desperately! We remodeled our house years ago with the intent of putting in a laundry room…but it became a storage closet when we lost steam after a bad contractor experience. I would love to finally get it done! And your blog inspires me to get going. :)
I would put it all towards our backyard. We're slowing been getting it ready to lay sawd.
New baseboards!
I would fix up our sun porch that is in dire need of some help!
I would run to Home Depot and freak out! I would buy a new light fixture for my entryway. Then I would grab some new hardware for the kitchen cabinets. I would grab some tile for my little outdated bathroom floor and some bright paint. The dining room would get a fresh coat of paint. I have been eyeing this beautiful green by West Elm , derby, and it would be wildly perfect. At this point if I still had anything left I would buy a couple cans of safety red and spray paint some end tables for the living room.
Great giveaway! I could use that gift card to prep for baby number 2 coming this fall!
I would use the $500 to help my sister remodel her outdated home and give her a bright spot to come home to every day!
I would spend it on improving my closet! Hot Mess! thanks :)
I have so many little projects that I need to get started on but I would totally slap a new coat of paint on my laundry room walls and install board and batten in the kiddos bathroom
I am at the start of a laundry room update. I've already ordered the stack kit for my washer and dryer but want to add a utility sink, shelving and a folding table!
I would put it towards a new bathroom vanity!!
We have a million renovations to do… we just bought our first house. I'd start with a new kitchen sink and faucet.
I love home depots, yesterday i pick up some paint for finishing my restroom, in grey and one guy give me his ten percent coupon, i am feeling like a queen…..
I would paint my entire house!!
Oh goodness- I would definitely buy some lighting fixtures and other goodies that I could bring along to a home after our apartment rental!
I would do a mini-kitchen makeover–new cabinet hardware and new backsplash!
I would use it to make my laundry room more functional. Thanks!
I would love to win the $500 Home Depot gift card. We are buying a home & we have many projects to do. We would probably use it for a fireplace makeover since winter is coming & it needs a screen & new mantle.
paint! I have several pieces and rooms that need a new life!
I would love to win the Home Depot $500 gift card! We are buying a house & we have many projects to do. We would probably use it for a fireplace makeover as winter is approaching & we need to do some work to it before it gets cold.
