To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.

  1. Love your blog. The gift card would go along way towards updating our laundry room and updateing a wall in our family that we would like to cover with planks of wood.

  2. The gift card would help the conversion of a tub to a shower. If only I could find some help on the best route to get there!

  3. I would update my master bathroom, for sure! I am living with a tiled shower with gross sliding doors that are original to my 1956 house – dying for an easy to clean, smooth surface shower.

  4. Ooooh, what a fantastic contest! I'd LOVE that gift certificate. In addition to copying your gold spray paint tip, I'd buy a staple gun so I can finally reupholster some things, and I'd also buy a cheap belt sander to make refinishing easier. And paint, oh, paint! I'd buy loads of paint and painting supplies to jazz up my living room. I might even get blinds from them if they do custom sizes for my weird windows!

  5. My husband and I just moved into a new townhouse and I have so many project ideas to tackle! Home Depot is my go-to store for anything home project related so the gift card would be very well used.

  6. Um, well we are renovating our entire house (like you are!) so this gift card would be AMAZING!! I might use it on flooring for our laundry room, or a backsplash for our kitchen, or wainscoting for our fireplace, or a new front door!

  7. I'm in the middle of a living room re-do so that $500 would help with paint, new crown moldings, and other new light fixtures.

  8. We're planning to buy a house within the next 6 months so this would really help us out with our first home!

  9. A $500 Home Depot card would be put to good use in our never ending project home! So many things it could go towards! Dreamy chevron patterned tile in the Master Bath, a dishwasher in the "to do" kitchen, a sander rental to redo all of our hardwood floors, windows in the "to do kitchen", the possibilities are endless!

  10. Amazing giveaway- you literally are endlessly inspiring Jenny! I would wallpaper the accent wall of our nursery (and paint, fix windows and get a cute rug;) that we are rushing to finish before baby #3 arrives!!

  11. I'd love to win this – HD is my favorite store by far. I'd definitely get some new shelving in my pantry and give the whole apartment a fresh coat of paint.

  12. Sometimes I feel like half my paycheck goes to hardware stores! We need outdoor plants and hardscape, bathroom renovations, lots of paint… the list goes on!

  13. I've been dreaming of a bedroom re-do…so this would go towards that – getting the paint to freshen up some furniture and get some new organization going in the closet.

  14. Yay for this giveaway! Since moving into our house two years ago, I keep myself actively busy nesting! With a .5 acre property though, I would have to put the money towards a garden project like lumbar for a patio stair case leading to a garden path.

  15. We just bought our first actual house and are trying to slowly tackle the many projects needed to make this fixer-upper a functional home. With $500 to Home Depot, I'd use it to turn our dark laundry/dryer corner in the garage into a place where I don't dread doing laundry!

  17. There would be so many choices in my fix up home. I think my first choice would be change my kitchen counter top so that I would be more invested in removing the wallpaper and painting the walls and ceiling.

  18. We just moved into aold home that we are renting…. The projects are endless!! I am itching for some projects. The HD care would be awwwwwwwwesome!! Thanks!!

  19. Oh my gosh, what would I do first is better, the list is soooo long. I'd do the cement counter GPS, I'd redo my wood floors ( half of one huge room that is part family room part dining room)
I'd redo powder room with wallpaper and breadboard and a glass shelf. Got the mirror, and need a new sink. I'd finish the office we started, I'd make my son's room, who just went to college in NYC into office/ guest/ his room, I could go on. Oh to dream, thanks Jenny!
