In celebration of the laundry room makeover contest, The Home Depot is giving you a second chance to win something special today – a $500 gift card!

To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.

Thanks to The Home Depot and P&G for sponsoring this post series. And thank you for supporting the companies that collaborate with me on LGN posts. :)

  1. If I won $500 to Home Depot I would give my kitchen a little makeover with black walls, brass hardware, and new bamboo shades!

  2. We have a never ending list of projects for our house…but if I won the $500 gift card, I'd put it towards new interior doors throughout the house plus hardware.

  3. My husband and I are in the process of working on our nursery for the baby we'll have in about 5 months – would LOVE to get some materials for projects in there!

  4. Love your laundry room! I would use the $500 Home Depot gift card to cross something off my 'to buy/to do' list, like replacing our brown, worn, hollow core interior doors with something solid and paneled, then paint them black. Crossing my fingers!

  5. It's back to school time and at out house that means going into an organizing frenzy! $500 to Home Depot would be a dream come true and allow me to complete a few projects we have in the works!

  6. My husband and I bought our "forever" home in January and we've been busy since then working on each room nearly every weekend. If I was lucky enough to win the $500 Home Depot giftcard, I'd spend it on new tile and lighting for our half bathroom!

  7. I'm also ready to tackle our laundry room – though it's in the basement, so this $500 would help a ton with making sure we have some clean organization down there and plenty of lumber for my husband to tackle the shelving and basics!

  8. I would finish up our master bedroom. I want to build our headboard, refinish some furniture, add some art, and pillows! $500 should more than cover it!

  9. Oh, I could totally use the $500 gift card right now. My huband and I are currently sharing a one bathroom with our 4 kids. We need to renovate our bathroom and this would help so much.

  11. This would be an amazing win. Fingers and toes crossed! I'd buy new paint for the kitchen. Painted it grey– which looks awesome in the bedroom, but looks purple and hideous in the kitchen. Not fun, and can't really swing the price of repainting right now. So, $500 would go a long may toward soothing my sanity, lol!

  12. As a renter, I wasn't able to enter the laundry room contest, but $500 from Home Depot would go a long way in renter-approved improvements (like taking care of the horrible paint job in the bathroom!)

  13. What project am I NOT working on? ;) My own laundry room needs a new floor: The room is an addition to my historic home added on sometime around the 30's, and I just added a foundation underneath it. Now the inside needs some help! Thanks for the chance :)

  14. oooooh! I've got a chandelier DIY from y splitter electrical sockets that I'm dying to add to my kitchen, I'd make that for sure!! Hope I win!! thanks :)

  15. We are expecting our first baby in November and badly need to get working on his/her bedroom. The $500 would go a long way in making a sweet space for our new arrival!

  16. We have a lot of projects to choose from! Maybe paint a few rooms and update mirrors/light fixtures in the bathrooms. Thanks!

  17. $500 would just about cover the cost of adding French doors on my sewing room. Gotta keep the kids away from all the sharp pointy things!

  18. $500 could help buy the paint for a console and a desk and brick surround of our fireplace, supplies to refinish concrete patio, better staple gun, miter box, some organizational hooks for garage and laundry room, drying rack.

Thanks for the always timely, informative and inspirational content, Jenny!
