Today is the very last day to enter to win a laundry room e-design from yours truly which comes with a $5000 Mastercard gift card and a year’s supply of Tide. I hope you’ve entered already (and here’s the link in case you haven’t!).
In celebration of the laundry room makeover contest, The Home Depot is giving you a second chance to win something special today – a $500 gift card!
To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.
Contest ends Monday, August 26 at midnight. Winner will be contacted via email. Good luck! (And don’t forget to enter the EXTRA BIG give away here!)
Thanks to The Home Depot and P&G for sponsoring this post series. And thank you for supporting the companies that collaborate with me on LGN posts. :)
I would love $500 to beautify my laundry room, starting with a countertop over my washer and dryer!
I just moved and a $500 gift card would be enough to make over my small laundry area plus give me a head start on a fence!
Jenny,
With a $500 gift card to HD the possibilities are endless! Finish our laundry room, start a built in project for our Living room, our get going on our Master bedroom! Thanks for such great opportunities!
$500! Sweet! That would go a long way in our soon-to-be-new house. :-)
Wow would this be amazing! We're getting ready for baby #2 and the projects just keep piling up!
My fiance and I are in the process of searching for our first home, so I can only imagine the long list of projects we will have to complete!
Cabinets over the washer!! that's what I want.
You have inspired me to redo my utility room. I would paint, add cabinets and a fold-down shelf attached to the wall where I could fold laundry on.
Toward a back yard shed, so I can clean out my garage!
Paint and new shelving for our laundry room!!
My husband and I just finished building our place in May and there's still a ton of stuff to do.
If I won a $500 Home Depot gift card, I would use it to finish my floating shelves (I need to trim them out), get more caulk because I'm despairing I'll ever finish caulking everything that needs to be and I'm on my last tube, and I'd buy myself a new power tool. Because I need more.
I would love this gift card! This weekend we started the process of changing the baseboards in every room of our apartment – and they're from Home Depot!
A hall bath reno for my mom!
Well, we are at HD so much that the employees joke that we know the store better than they do! The project of the moment is finishing our guest bathroom. We'd get crown molding and materials for faux board and batten (fresh smooth drywall = no board! yay!). The rest would go towards slowly replacing all the windows in the house. 8 down, 6 to go!
If I was able to win the $500 Home Depot gift card, I would put it toward our current laundry-kitchen-flooring remodel! It would go far in our near-daily trips to Home Depot… :)
I would put the money to new appliances – fridge and stove. Can't wait to see you kitchen reveal – you are a wonder worker!
I'd use a Home Depot gift card to get some decent lighting! I live in a rental and haven't been able to bring myself to replace the sad ceiling lights we have since we're saving every penny for a house!
I would put it towards our basement reno.
We just bought a house with a newly redone master bathroom that is butt. We call it our corporate hotel bathroom. I would use the $500 to change out the god awful black vessel sinks, and get new lighting. Otherwise, I need to do built in shelving next to my fireplace.
The gift card would totally go for a new bbq grill for the hubby, or a new family room area rug, or new switches, outlets & coverplates throughout the house.
Master bedroom renovation!
Oh, I would live to win! I'd finish my home office remodel that we've been working on for a year! Keeping my fingers crossed!
Nikki
With $500 from Home Depot I would totally buy new doorknobs for my whole house:) The ones I have now are a cheap, bright, Jersey Shore gold. Decorating is in the details!
Oh, I would live to win! I'd finish my home office remodel that we've been working on for a year! Keeping my fingers crossed!

Omg! I would love a $500 gift card to the Home Depot! I would use it to buy lumber to finally put up board and atten in my daighter's bedroom.
Oooh! With $500 to Home Depot, I would finally tile my kitchen backsplash! Fingers crossed;-)
$500 to HD would go towards lumber to build some butcher-block-like countertops for our new built-ins in the office/playroom.
The $500 Dollar gift card would help me finish refurbishing an antique footstool of mine and maybe some fancy cabinet hardware!!
I would use this for my kitchen, which desperately needs updating!
We just moved in to a new house.. that needs a lot of work! We are currently focusing on the floors! Would be great to win this!
I would get new flooring for my entryway.
I would buy supplies to refinish the 1980's builder grade oak cabinets in the bathrooms in a matte black and put the rest of the $500 to replace my 1988 beige electric stove!
I would start sheet-rocking our walls, so sick of paneling!
Wonderful! I would buy all the little items that can really customize projects.

I could sure use $500 to spruce up my laundry or half bath! The list is not short of things I need from Home Depot!
I keep a Home Depot list on my phone. Right now I need glossy black spray paint, super glue, a drop cloth and a basil plant…not all of the same project:)
I'm sure I can come up with more
I would kick off a great master closet system for my new home!
Oh, the amount of tile I could buy! Remodeled our bathroom last year. Then we had the floors lifted, and guess what? The bathroom has to be redone! Not all of it, just the tile surround- cracked grout, cracked tiles- enough that it can't be spot-fixed!
"Finishing" fixing up my house by finally getting the kitchen done (resurface the counters, new light, paint the cabinets and walls). And yes, I know my house will never actually be finished. Sigh.
We would love to finish our kitchen and add a tile backsplash to brighten it up :)
Ooo! My laundry room/back bedroom/bathroom is currently under construction. I'd use it to give that a push.
I'd love to give my bathroom an upgrade. It has pink/beige linoleum floors and horrible paint.
I'm shopping at Home Depot once a week already but with a $500 gift card I would feel encouraged to tackle some projects that have been on the back burner for some time. I desperately want to change up our boring builder's light sconces with something more fun, and I want to completely repaint and redecorate our main bathroom. Who knows, maybe I'd have some money leftover to repaint our kitchen cabinets too!
P.S. I'm super excited to see the upcoming faux bois tutorial!
Love the counters!! I'd stretch that $500 gift card over several projects including much needed storage organization, bathroom upgrades, and lighting.
gosh, where to start? I think a stove is the top of my list, since ours is down to one working burner. Although I also have my eye on a butcher block counter for our kitchen.
Paint and some lighting! Love the faux bois treatment you did – gorgeous!
New tile and flooring in our bathroom.
