To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.

  1. Hmm – we need to replace the stairs coming out of our back door, but I have to admit, a snowblower would be awfully tempting.

  2. Getting ready to completely clear out and organize my garage.I would use the $500. for some shelving and bins for storage!

  3. A $500 gift card would go towards converting our car port into a "Party Barn" or towards a new bathroom vanity, or towards paint for the whole house, or towards paneling the stairwell, or towards ceiling treatments in the dining room. Or a few other projects I have up my sleeve. New home owner in the house. Holla.

  4. I would use the $500 to update storage and organization all over our house! I always overlook the little things and it is time to freshen them up! It's crazy how great it feels to have a cute AND organized space.

  5. Love, love LGN! When I win the $500.00 gift card from the Home Depot (the power of positive thinking)I will begin the much needed and anticipated master bath re-do ;).

  6. There are so many things I could do with $500. Maybe a new light fixture for the breakfast room, new plants for the backyard, paint/wallpaper for the dining room, new tile in master shower… The list goes on and on. Love your blog.

  7. I'd finally figure out a way to hang window treatments in the bedroom. I'd also re-vamp the night stands, dresser and chest in the bedroom with new hardware and paint.

  8. We're getting started on decorating a new NURSERY! So exciting and I'm totally in nesting phase. I would go for new paint and materials for custom shelving.

  9. Oh gosh, it is hard to narrow down what I would get at Home Depot! Paint for the basement for sure, drop cloth to paint on for my son and a light fixture for the bathroom to start! It would be like being a kid in a candy store!!!

  10. This is kismet! i was about to peruse your blog for ideas to update my laundry room and voila you have a post about it with a giveaway! Thanks so much for posting so regularly, i know i can alwasy count on you for good ideas

  11. If I won the gift card, I would use it to install a counter top and cabinets over my new-to-me front-loading washer and dryer. It will allow me to get rid of the not-so-classy curtain that currently covers the laundry area and open up the kitchen.

  12. I could definitely use an extra $500 … I'm trying to put an office into my laundry room right now. It's the only available space and would be convenient….BUT….. Challenging.

  13. How exciting. I have so many projects that I could put the $500 git card towards, but I think updating the kitchen with some new paint or a new kitchen sink would top my list.

  14. Hi Jenny. I'd use the HD gift card to buy some drywall and a circular saw to repair some wall damage we did trying to remove some wallpaper that I swear had to be superglued on! There were multiple layers of paper and our drywall took a beating trying to get it off. Anyways, thanks for the chance! I've been entering to the main contest since you announced it. :)

  15. Thanks Jenny and Home Depot for rewarding your followers with such a wonderful giveaway. A bedroom makeover including paint, closet system, and lighting would be just the thing to do with a snazzy $500 gift card!

  16. My husband and I are currently house hunting and we've looked at several houses all of which will require some work in making it our own!! Paint, hardware, window treatments… $500 at Home Depot would absolutely come in handy!!

  17. Love that faux bois, gorgeous. We have an open shelving area right smack in themiddle of our living room that desperately needs doors. So we'd probably use the funds for that. Cover up the eyesore that is 3 levels of children's toys.

  18. With a $500 gift card to Home Depot I would love to help my boyfriend get to work on his first home purchase! The basement has an awesome brick fireplace and bar area that could use a little TLC to build a perfect man cave.

  19. We are in the middle of a kitchen reno- a very very cheap reno. It's gonna be awesome but I'd definitely apply the cash to the kitchen project. The faux bois looks incredible!

  20. Firstly thank you Home Depot and Jenny for rewarding your readers with such a wonderful giveaway. I would use my $500 towards new paint, closet system, and lighting to snaz up our drab old bedroom.

  21. Home Depot has it all! I would love to have a little lush fund to get to update our cabinets with some paint and I am DYING to try your cement counter tops!

  22. My list of things to do is quite extensive at the moment since we close tomorrow on a house that "needs some love" but $500 would be an amazing help!!!! :)
