Today is the very last day to enter to win a laundry room e-design from yours truly which comes with a $5000 Mastercard gift card and a year’s supply of Tide. I hope you’ve entered already (and here’s the link in case you haven’t!).
In celebration of the laundry room makeover contest, The Home Depot is giving you a second chance to win something special today – a $500 gift card!
To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.
Contest ends Monday, August 26 at midnight. Winner will be contacted via email. Good luck! (And don’t forget to enter the EXTRA BIG give away here!)
Thanks to The Home Depot and P&G for sponsoring this post series. And thank you for supporting the companies that collaborate with me on LGN posts. :)
Would love to finish off my outdoor patio!!
We are working on jazzing up the outside right now and some new plants in my front yard would be great!
I'd use the gift card to buy plant containers and revamp my backyard! Thanks for the chance to win!
Hmm – we need to replace the stairs coming out of our back door, but I have to admit, a snowblower would be awfully tempting.
I would love to finish off my outdoor patio!
Getting ready to completely clear out and organize my garage.I would use the $500. for some shelving and bins for storage!
I would use the $500 to buy paint and supplies to redo our master bathroom.

I'd build a headboard for our new bedroom!
A $500 gift card would go towards converting our car port into a "Party Barn" or towards a new bathroom vanity, or towards paint for the whole house, or towards paneling the stairwell, or towards ceiling treatments in the dining room. Or a few other projects I have up my sleeve. New home owner in the house. Holla.
I would add the cabinet that I've been wanting in our kitchen!
Panneling in my entry way.
I would use the $500 to update storage and organization all over our house! I always overlook the little things and it is time to freshen them up! It's crazy how great it feels to have a cute AND organized space.
Love, love LGN! When I win the $500.00 gift card from the Home Depot (the power of positive thinking)I will begin the much needed and anticipated master bath re-do ;).
I'd love to use the $500 toward our nursery!
I would buy pavers for my back garden!!!
I would buy pavers for my back garden!!!
There are so many things I could do with $500. Maybe a new light fixture for the breakfast room, new plants for the backyard, paint/wallpaper for the dining room, new tile in master shower… The list goes on and on. Love your blog.
I'd redo my kitchen and paint the walls! :)
We would continue with our garage makeover/organizing project!
I'd finally figure out a way to hang window treatments in the bedroom. I'd also re-vamp the night stands, dresser and chest in the bedroom with new hardware and paint.
We're getting started on decorating a new NURSERY! So exciting and I'm totally in nesting phase. I would go for new paint and materials for custom shelving.
I live in an old 70's home that is in desperate need of some new paint and light fixtures!
Oh gosh, it is hard to narrow down what I would get at Home Depot! Paint for the basement for sure, drop cloth to paint on for my son and a light fixture for the bathroom to start! It would be like being a kid in a candy store!!!
This is kismet! i was about to peruse your blog for ideas to update my laundry room and voila you have a post about it with a giveaway! Thanks so much for posting so regularly, i know i can alwasy count on you for good ideas
If I won the gift card, I would use it to install a counter top and cabinets over my new-to-me front-loading washer and dryer. It will allow me to get rid of the not-so-classy curtain that currently covers the laundry area and open up the kitchen.
$500 would go toward supplies for a mini kitchen reno. Or a freezer for the 1/4 cow we're buying.
I could definitely use an extra $500 … I'm trying to put an office into my laundry room right now. It's the only available space and would be convenient….BUT….. Challenging.
I'd blow $500 on crown molding for our master bedroom.
I would use the gift card to help fund painting my kitchen cabinets!
How exciting. I have so many projects that I could put the $500 git card towards, but I think updating the kitchen with some new paint or a new kitchen sink would top my list.
New french doors for our bedroom renovation! And paint…always paint.
I would buy new light fixtures!!!!
I would use it towards my bathroom remodel!
In the midst of a remodel! $500 would come in handy for so many things!

My laundry room needs so much help!!! But. So does my backyard. That would probably be priority número uno.
Moving into a new house so new projects galore starting with several paint jobs :)
Hi Jenny. I'd use the HD gift card to buy some drywall and a circular saw to repair some wall damage we did trying to remove some wallpaper that I swear had to be superglued on! There were multiple layers of paper and our drywall took a beating trying to get it off. Anyways, thanks for the chance! I've been entering to the main contest since you announced it. :)
Thanks Jenny and Home Depot for rewarding your followers with such a wonderful giveaway. A bedroom makeover including paint, closet system, and lighting would be just the thing to do with a snazzy $500 gift card!
Seemingly how we live at Home Depot, I would redo the closets in the master, paint the office and more plants for the house
My husband and I are currently house hunting and we've looked at several houses all of which will require some work in making it our own!! Paint, hardware, window treatments… $500 at Home Depot would absolutely come in handy!!
Love that faux bois, gorgeous. We have an open shelving area right smack in themiddle of our living room that desperately needs doors. So we'd probably use the funds for that. Cover up the eyesore that is 3 levels of children's toys.
With a $500 gift card to Home Depot I would love to help my boyfriend get to work on his first home purchase! The basement has an awesome brick fireplace and bar area that could use a little TLC to build a perfect man cave.
Hardwood floor in the bedrooms, master bathroom updates and etc.
We are in the middle of a kitchen reno- a very very cheap reno. It's gonna be awesome but I'd definitely apply the cash to the kitchen project. The faux bois looks incredible!
Firstly thank you Home Depot and Jenny for rewarding your readers with such a wonderful giveaway. I would use my $500 towards new paint, closet system, and lighting to snaz up our drab old bedroom.
Home Depot has it all! I would love to have a little lush fund to get to update our cabinets with some paint and I am DYING to try your cement counter tops!
My list of things to do is quite extensive at the moment since we close tomorrow on a house that "needs some love" but $500 would be an amazing help!!!! :)
maybe a door to the bathroom in the master bedroom, so my wife will stop complaining about what i do in there
I would add some cabinets to the laundry room!
