In celebration of the laundry room makeover contest, The Home Depot is giving you a second chance to win something special today – a $500 gift card!

To enter to win the $500 gift card to The Home Depot (which will arrive with a great box of samples from Tide), just leave a comment on this post. I’d love to hear what projects you’d fund with the gift card. I actually picked up some supplies there this weekend and did a little faux bois treatment to my laundry folding station. I’m working on the tutorial photos now, so look for that post tomorrow probably.

Thanks to The Home Depot and P&G for sponsoring this post series. And thank you for supporting the companies that collaborate with me on LGN posts. :)

  1. If I won a $500 to the Home Depot I would definitely renovate my bedroom to give it a cute, vintage feel! A project I am currently trying to start by grabbing ideas from your blog! :)

  2. The faux bois counters look great! I would use a Home Depot gift card to help build shelves on either side of my fireplace.

  3. I want to put a picture ledge in my dining room. That probably wouldn't take up the whole $500 but I'm sure I'd be able to use the rest on something :)!

  4. I would FINALLY do something with our bedroom or master bath. Both are in a sad state. Paint, crown, light fixtures, window treatments. It would be a challenge to see how far I could stretch the 500.00! Thanks!

  5. We are building a home I already have all my ceiling fans picked out at Home Depot. Great prices + some of the vest looking fans around. Home Depots Altura fan is commonly seen on Houzz! I would love to put $500 toward that purchase

  6. You've inspired me to re-do my laundry room, too. I would use the gift card to buy paint, brushes, and other supplies to help transform the space!

  7. I so want this gift card! If I won, I would buy wood for shelving, paint, new flooring, and a countertop material for a new laundry closet!

  8. I would use $500 to update our kitchen! We need to paint the cabinets, get new laminate countertops, and add some trim. I'd also like to put up some shelves in there. Just found you through an old post of Edie's from Life in Grace!

  9. I would update our master suite with new paint, fixtures, hardware, lighting, and towel racks. I actually already have a plan ready!

  10. Wow! That faux bois top looks so great! I'd use the gift card to get a jump on our bathroom reno! (it DESPERATELY needs an update!)

  11. I would do a mini makeover to our powder room/laundry room! It has great apiances but needs a countertop and better shelves/cabinets.

  12. With a $500 gift card I would finally do all of the projects that I have needed to do for years – refinish the dining room table and the dresser in the master, paint the night stands in the master, the list goes on!

  13. $500 from Home Depot will let me transform our basement into a playroom for our kids, a laundry nook for me and an office space for my husband.

I was so inspired by your laundry room that I started work on mine. But due to lots of ugly pipes and holey walls, it's going to take a lot of work and budgeting. Some help from Home Depot should do the trick!

  14. I love the faux countertops – so clever! With $500, I would buy window treatments for a large window in my living room.

  15. We are in the midst of a big renovation. 5 hundos to the HD would be amazing. We need a new bathtub, door hardware, and lumber galore. We spend so much time there that our oldest is begging to have his birthday party at Big Orange.
