L&S Fabrics is giving away another $100 gift certificate! (Also – did you hear they are running a sale through the end of the month? 20% off with the coupon code LSFABRICS FIRST) They have some really awesome new fabric patterns, most ranging from $10-$35 per yard. It was easy to pull together fabrics for a whole imaginary house (I used my pattern-mixing formula).

I like more neutral fabrics for this imaginary living room. Maybe a colorful rug, or some fun accent pillows? With neutral base fabrics, anything goes. PS I will always love a buffalo check!

I thought these colors would be fun for a dining room. They seem so cheerful. And if you haven’t seen the full repeat of the coral floral in the upper right, check it out here. Gorgeous.

The family room in this house would also be pretty neutral. I love toile for curtains, because the pattern is less intense and obvious. I like the gray variations in this one – it looks like an expensive Schumacher pattern. And wouldn’t that faux bois pattern be great on a pair of arm chairs? It’s a like a modern take on the traditional lodge/man den look.

For a sweet, feminine nursery, I would mix some large and small-scale stylized florals with some fun check and dots patterns.

For a little boy’s room, how awesome are the anchors? The hits of dark charcoal keep things from going too sweet.

Oh man. I just ordered some of this abstract-like fabric for pillows, and I’m hoping it’s just as amazing in person. I love it.

All fabrics, and so, so many more, here on L&S.

For a chance to win $100 gift certificate (new drapes? pillows? an upholstery project!?), please leave a comment on this post and share what you would purchase with the $100. The contest closes this Friday at midnight and the winner will be chosen at random and emailed. Good luck!

And don’t forget the 20% off coupon code, good through the 30th! LSFABRICS FIRST

Contest is closed and the winner will be emailed (so check your inbox!) Thanks for playing!

  1. I have an accent chair to upholster. I'm loving that watercolor/abstract print. Can't wait to see it on some pillows. I might have to order some for myself!

  2. I've been wanting to do long panels in my bedroom. I have these skimpy things that need replacing very badly. Ha!

  3. Fun! I have so many projects- a headboard, curtains for the dining room, a chair seat I want to recover… the list goes on and on.

  4. I think I would order the coral splendor or the emporor's garden. I need some bold patterns for euro shams and a table skirt. I am getting tired of plain old white.

  5. Thanks for the giveaway! I desperately need to get fabric to reupholster a used mid-century chair that just I got. I love and L&S and their great selection.

  6. Fabric is On My List. I have two chairs and an ottoman to recover (they have this crazy awesome, mostly crazy, olive chenille with pumpkin polka dots, but the fabric is worn out), and I have 6 dining chairs that could really use an update from the southwest pattern fabric on them presently. I can't WAIT to have the right week/weekend to complete that beast of a project.

  7. So many choices.. possibly Interlock in Artichoke, or Mandala in Marine, or Ponderosa in Sage or I've always wanted some Circadian. The possibilities are endless!! I would love to win!

  8. i can't decide out of the ikat patterns which i would choose! i would make pillows for my sofa using that super easy pillow tutorial you posted :)

  9. i can't decide which ikat pattern i would choose! but i would make pillows for my sofa using the super easy pillow tutorial you posted :)

  10. I love all of the fabrics in the last set! They are perfect for pillow in my bedroom! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

  11. Jenny, glad you are better! I need some upholstery fabric for a Dorothy Draper-ish ebay find. I'm in love with something that's way to expensive but I bet L&S would have something that I would love just as much!

  12. I love the last combination of fabrics you came up with, so pretty! I'd go for fabric for pillows to brighten up the living room.

  13. So glad your better Jenny. I would purchase the fabrics you have chosen for the imaginery dining room! And use them in my front living room which I am trying to decorate at the moment.
    Thanks
    Tarnya

  15. Ohhhhh I would totally get some of that Sensations in Sorbet… My bedroom has needed curtains for over 4 years and I can't decide what would look best… UGH!! Soooo glad you are feeling better! How scary! xoxo!

  16. I would use the fabrice to make some new pillows for the living room – the Gotcha or Zig Zag fabrics in black would be perfect!

  17. I would love the black and white buffalo
check for cushions in the mud room! Or
even a duvet cover! Tough choice!

  18. I am looking to update our family room, and what better way than with new pillows? I have my eye on the gray/yellow ikat, the yellow strands fabric, and the a couple bright shots of color – maybe sea foam or pink?

Thanks Jenny! Glad you are feeling better…

  19. I bought a 1920s table and chairs three months ago. I'm worried I made a mistake, but maybe new fabric on the chairs would make up for its dismally low height? That is what I would do with a $100 gift card. And, so glad you're back and feeling better.

  20. I would use the credit towards fabric for new valances in my living room or maybe to recover the cushions on my kitchen banquette! Hope you're feeling better and taking it easy!

  21. That $100 would totally motivate me to drive over there and pick out some new fabric for my church yard sale couch.
