My lovely friends at L&S recently redesigned their website and to celebrate they’d like to offer a $100 gift certificate to one of you readers. If you’d like a chance to win, please check out their new site here and then leave a comment on this post sharing your fabric picks. Here are mine:

I like this ikat-ish tiger print!

This print is a fun, organic version of a geometric pattern

Honeycomb ikat!

And a coordinating ikat

This panther pattern is really amazing. I can see this on a pair of chairs or maybe on a set of Louis chairs around a modern dining table…

I would make a pair of these buffalo check pillow in gray and do a bright neon orangey pink welt.

Pretty yellow ikat

Doesn’t this sort of look like a China Seas pattern?

LOVE this color combo!!

Khanjali is a really lovely fabric in person! The green is a bright chartreuse..

This reminds me of Lulu DK a bit. It would make for a great single throw pillow.

This Union Jack fabric is very promising!

And don’t forget Paris!

Contest ends Sunday, September 11 at midnight. Good luck!!

**UPDATE: Congratulations to Steve Steinhardt for winning the gift card!**

  1. I just got married in June and my husband and I have spent the past few months trying to make our apartment just a bit homier and well appointed. The one thing we could just not afford to do on grad school salaries was buy a new couch. Fortunately, he has a lovely, sturdy couch that has simple lines which is unfortunately upholstered in really hideous forest green corduroy. Looking at it makes me feel like all the hard work I've done in the rest of the living room & apartment is for naught. It's heartbreaking. I would use the generous gift certificate towards defraying the costs of the Palermo velvet in grey for the sofa, and then snatch up some Sudan (in Sage… which looks grey), Seema, Mercury (in orange & pink), Links (in slate) and Dagmar (in graphite) to make pillows! It would be a dream come true!

  2. I would love to win this! I need to make curtains for a large window in my kitchen. I love that buffalo check in gray.

  3. As usual, my champagne taste was drawn to all of the more expensive fabrics (and they do have some beautiful choices), but my favorite is the Tashkent in red.

  4. definitely kilburn in dark blue and belgano velvet for an diy coffee table ottoman that needs to be covered! love! thanks!

  5. Thanks for hosting this giveaway! Great redesign. There's so much to love among the ikat fabrics. Marrakesh jumped out at me right away, as did Egeo A/JRU02 in the black colorway. I would find something very special to make with those fabrics.

  6. Oh. How. Fun! I love Theo! And I love that the site gave me recommendations at the bottom where I saw Namaste which I also love. And I also love your selection of Toadstool! Such a great print and color!

  7. there are so many great ones! I think I need to do some shopping for new pillows. I love the Casablanca ikat & the Loop D Loop. thanks for the giveaway!

  8. I would DIE to win this giveaway! I love the honeycomb ikat you posted… I would also get some tassle trim for a project I am working on!

  9. I like all the toile options, I think one of those could be incorporated into some contrasting elements in my bedroom.

  10. So hard to choose! I like the Endur Tile Trel(lis, I think) — subtle but geometric and looks durable. Am also a bit in love with the Hawthorne woven red paisley (in Claret)…classic, rich, beautiful.

  11. I love the Bedazzle Ikat in Silver Lining! Its perfect for my first try at reupholstering! Your tutorials have given me the confidence to make Grandma's ugly old rocker my favorite piece. Keeping my fingers crossed!

  12. I loooove the outdoor fabrics. the Emma print is fantastic. thinking of using some of them for outdoor curtains on my porch.

  13. Im loving the new site! Thanks L & S for keeping us shoppers in mind for your new redesign, the new features are fantastic!

Faux bois velvet is so hard to come by! Id surely take a yard or two of Leeds 8355 HB-02 for a pair of bolster pillows.
