In other news, we have a very busy weekend ahead of us. On the agenda: sanding and painting, organizing, packing, and cleaning; also, swimming, Eclipse-watching, and barbecuing. Thank goodness for the extra day off on Monday!

Interesting. I follow quite a few American interior blogs and even though I love and am inspired by them, many rooms featured have a hotel room feel. Slightly too perfect. I relate it to high fashion. We see whats on the runways but most of us would never wear it. The high street takes its inspiration and we wear it in a diluted form.
