Welcome to our newest LGN sponsor: La Plates!

La Plates offers personalized 10″ melamine plates, salad/dinner plates, platters, placemats, acrylic trays and ice buckets, cups and napkins, coolers and totes.

Lara Shelton started La Plates in 2008 with the goal of bringing fashionably hip and casual/kid-friendly designs to the table. And I think it’s safe to say that she has been wildly successful in reaching that goal. Her monogrammed dinnerware and accessories are so gorgeous and so fun.

Fun dinnerware for outdoor or indoor place settings:

And there are great acrylic trays, for the lucite lover in all of us:

Remember this bag that I posted about in December? La Plates carries it!! I just got mine from La Plates last week, and I have to say that I LOVE it. It is big, but not ridiculously so. I’ve been using it as a work bag and it is perfect for all my paint decks and fabric samples, a laptop and notepads. It would make a really great diaper bag too. I get all sorts of compliments on it when I’m out and about.

La Plates is kindly offering a set of four custom salad/dinner plates for one lucky LGN reader. To enter, please check out the La Plates site and leave a comment with the style of plate and monogram of your choice.

I’m having a hard time choosing between the clover, Greek key, modern, and squares patterns. And there is something to be said for the solid plate…choices, choices!!

Comments will be closed Sunday, March 14 at midnight.

P.S. the code LGN10 will get readers 10% off all plates, platters & placemats. Thank you, La Plates!

  1. I also own an Interior Design business. I just found your blog and am so happy I did. I guess I will try and will the give a way. I have never won anything before, truly.

    Glad I found you.

  2. These plates will make such a fun shower gift! I would get the squares pattern with a single script initial, but really there are about 5 other combinations I love just as much :)

  3. I love clove in light blue with a circle initial. These are so fun and perfect for a spring outdoor dinner party.

  4. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love this company! I'm planning on getting my mom a tray for the pool house this summer!

I love the plain plate with a kelley green background with a Roman Monogram in navy.

  5. Adorable!! I love the "squares" plate in brown with the khaki "center square with single initial" in "H" My fingers are crossed! Thanks!

  6. These plates are everything a southern girl and newlywed could ever want….I love the casual charm of these plates and a chance to show off our new monogram together! What a great gift idea for my sister-in-law who has a little girl. For her, I might choose a pattern with a beach feel since they live in Charleston. For me, I would have to have the pink clover design with our monogram! Love your website, and always want to message you for ideas, but I have so many questions, not sure where to begin!

  7. These are the cutest plates ever – perfect for our terrace. I would definitely choose the Squares pattern in Turquoise with the circle monogram in orange. Fingers crossed!!!

  8. these are adorable!!! i am having such a hard time picking my favorite, but i'm loving the zebra print and the squares with the big cursive intials. so cute!!!

  9. I love the Paisley in yellow with a Blue 'S'. I really love these plates and all their designs! ambersa at gmail dot com

  10. Wow! I love anything bespoke or personalised. These are fantastic!

I would go for the Greek Key in Pale Blue (or plain in Navy Blue – how to choose?) with the circle monogram for my sister and her fiance who are getting married later this year.

  11. i like mix and match the best.

i would either take one plate design, for example paisley and have one plate in each color, but keep the initial the same style on each.
    -OR-
i would take the solid color plates and choose a different color and different single letter on each to spell something out.
    -OR-
i would choose different colors and designs for each. (ie) stripe, dot, clover, paisley, chevron, knots, squares, vine. each a different color. then i would write (american font) eat on them all. or mix in 3-4 letter words. eat. sing. jump. love. fall. one. us. try. or i would put numbers on each plate. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

  12. thanks for the introduction – i love these plates, the acrylic trays and the accessories! they are SO fun! fantastic gifts for me or my dearies and well priced.
i think the vine pattern in khaki and a scroll mono in navy or turquoise.

    bestest!

  14. I love La Plates – I've ordered the tumblers and platters as hostess gifts whenever our friends invite us for a visit. Such a nice way to say thank you. I've wanted to order a set for myself in the black greek key with a kelly green roman D initial. I should be so lucky to win set, then I'll have to order more to complete a service for 12!

  15. I am SO in love with la plates its not even funny!! i think i would have to choose the greek key in orange with a brown monogram – for year round preppy chic fabulousness
