Welcome to our newest LGN sponsor: La Plates!

La Plates offers personalized 10″ melamine plates, salad/dinner plates, platters, placemats, acrylic trays and ice buckets, cups and napkins, coolers and totes.

Lara Shelton started La Plates in 2008 with the goal of bringing fashionably hip and casual/kid-friendly designs to the table. And I think it’s safe to say that she has been wildly successful in reaching that goal. Her monogrammed dinnerware and accessories are so gorgeous and so fun.

Fun dinnerware for outdoor or indoor place settings:

And there are great acrylic trays, for the lucite lover in all of us:

Remember this bag that I posted about in December? La Plates carries it!! I just got mine from La Plates last week, and I have to say that I LOVE it. It is big, but not ridiculously so. I’ve been using it as a work bag and it is perfect for all my paint decks and fabric samples, a laptop and notepads. It would make a really great diaper bag too. I get all sorts of compliments on it when I’m out and about.

La Plates is kindly offering a set of four custom salad/dinner plates for one lucky LGN reader. To enter, please check out the La Plates site and leave a comment with the style of plate and monogram of your choice.

I’m having a hard time choosing between the clover, Greek key, modern, and squares patterns. And there is something to be said for the solid plate…choices, choices!!

Comments will be closed Sunday, March 14 at midnight.

P.S. the code LGN10 will get readers 10% off all plates, platters & placemats. Thank you, La Plates!

  1. These plates are so fun! I love the squares design with script monogram – light green with navy, or maybe light blue with green! Thanks!

  2. Ahhhh…the squares are just classic. As is the houndstooth. So I would have to choose the classic scripty font to match! Ahhhh…again!

  3. I don't know how you pick your winner but I hope it's me!! At any rate, I now have La Plates bookmarked and on my wish list.

My favorite is the Square plate with a single initial, (Kelly Green plate with navy script) although the Modern plate is a close runner up. Ideally (someday) I would mix and match the Square and the Modern in complimentary colors (maybe orange and magenta for the Modern), doing a single script initial on the Square and a circle on the Modern. But honestly, I'd be happy with any – they're all fabulous!

  4. I would choose the paisley pattern(black), center square with single initial: "S"(red). Thanks! I've been enjoying your blog!

  5. mmm so hard to choose but I adore the square plate in yellow with a brown circular monogram: MAK… what a lovely wedding present… for me!

  6. Those plates are wonderful! And the bag is to die for…although, I'm a sucker for all bags. Anyway, it's so hard to choose. I think I like the Paisley Plate. Light green background with a center square single initial in khaki. Would that look good?

  7. I've loved these plates for such a long time now. Its so hard to choose one combo! I would definitely like the squares in kelly green with a script initial. These plates are so much fun.

  8. I am obsessed with these plates!!!! I would LOVE to have squares background in navy blue with the square single initial (K) in khaki. I hope I win:)

  9. I am obsessed with these plates!!!! I would LOVE to have squares background in navy blue with the square single initial (K) in khaki. I hope I win:)

  10. Love them! I'm on La Plates all the time playing with the different patterns, and it's almost impossible to choose! I'd love the round plates in the Greek key pattern in orange with the center initial, H, in royal blue.

  11. These are great! I'm not sure how you narrow it down to one but I think I would choose the squares design with a single square initial.
