I love the look of benches, stools and chairs upholstered in fluffy sheepskin. They look really great as small accent pieces in a living room or a bedroom.
Reader Nadia used the simplest IKEA stool and a Mongolian lambskin pillow cover (this one would work really well!) to make a gorgeous little stool for her home.
I love the pink legs of her IKEA stool (and how about that wallpaper?)! For the full, very easy how-to, check out Nadia’s post here.
Looks nice and glam—but I had to laugh, because my first thought was my terrier would claim it as a dogbed!
Thank you so much Jenny for sharing my Mongolian Stool with your readers!!!
Happy that you like it :)
Chair and cushion both are looks nice and what a color combination. Cushion style is very beautiful. I have searched may online furniture store but I did not see anywhere that cushion.
the designer from the top picture, http://www.sallywheatinteriors.com is having a one kings lane sale today! She also has those stools for sale on her website!
This is great! I'm trying to get my fiancé to upholster 2 stumps for me.. I love the look of them. Thanks for sharing!

Love Nadia!! Her stool is so fab!! I also did it and am so, so happy with it.
Love all these examples…and that little stool! I used an ikea sheepskin to cover my piano bench, but not convinced I love the red legs yet. This is what I was asking about the Safety Red for :)

What an awesome DIY project. Love it!
Ok, so the stool is cute but the wall paper is little girl perfection. Care to share the source or designer?
Thanks for sharing this Jenny. I am most inspired when someone takes a piece and transforms it into something else. It helps me see the entire world in a different way.
Love, love, love this!

So cute and I also LOVE LOVE that wallpaper!!
Adorable! I love the look of lamb's wool whether on furniture or the floor – but not so keen about furniture with animal legs. Thanks for sharing this idea!
Ohh doing this to my daughters vanity stool for her little girl room.
These stools are fabulous! I see them everywhere too! Glad to know I can make one now ;)
I love sheepskin throws as accents (I'm staring at a couple in my own home right now), which makes this my new favorite DIY. Thank you for sharing!
Gorgeous! And looks nice and cozy on this cold, cold day.
ABSOLUTELY DYING over this. so freaking awesome.
These Mongolian lamb stools from Jonathan Adler are pricey, but absolute heaven:

Ikea has really reasonable priced flokati rugs that I have used for the same. I covered a cube footstool, although I did have to use a little creative sewing to cover it all.
Love these. I want the chair. It would quickly become my favorite seat.

such a simple and adorable DIY! thanks for sharing :)
Love the stool, but I cannot quit staring at that wallpaper. I'd love to know who makes it! So gorgeous.
I second that, could wallpaper source be provided? Thanks!!
Oh boy I am so inspired by this post! Such a great DIY! This is definitely going at the top of my list!
Wallpaper update for those who, like me, are completely obsessed! So, I don't really know her… but Nadia is amazing. I asked for the info, and she personally emailed me within about 15 minutes! Girl's got it together AND has great taste. Here it is: The wallpaper is "Indira" by Clarke & Clarke and "Damson" is the color in Nadia's photo. Here's the link:

Nadia also clued me in on a post she wrote about the wallpaper…Eye. Candy.
