I love the simplicity and contrast of Hugo Guinness’ black and white lino-cut prints.
They are all over the blogosphere and in design mags:

Kate and Andy Spade’s home during a Christmas dinner as photographed by Elle a few years ago. See the Gunniess prints on the wall? Love it. Image via Brilliant Asylum.
Guinness prints are always available for sale at John Derian, sold in limited editions of 100, prices starting at $425. This snapshot is from the Provincetown, MA store.
From the John Derian flagshop store in Manhattan.
Rashida Jones’ apartment, via Domino, features a floral Guinness lino-cut print front and center, above her gorgeous French sofa.
Another blogger (does anyone remember who so I can credit??) posted recently about the Conde Nast store selling limited edition Guinness prints. They’re out of my budget right now at $140 each (or $600 for all four), but if I had the money, I would be SO tempted to snag a few of these! There are only 100 of these available, so act fast. Make sure to put these prints in gold frames though. Ditch the white.
I’m a convert – off to search the blogosphere – thanks for this gorgeous glimpse!
great post, loved so many of the collections .
Wow, you’re right, these are just fabulous! I love the stark colors used, the simplicity of the shapes – everything ; – )
Jennica,
I started doing lino cuts. I have been doing 2 color, but i love how simple the black and white ones are. Let me know if you need some original “Heidi Garner’s” and I’ll send some your way… but not until after this baby comes!!!
You are so talented, I am certain that you could do something similar…right?
Everytime I go into John Derian I stand in front of that wall just gazing…at all of the gorgeous prints I can’t afford! But god if I could they’d be all over my apartment.
beautiful! I especially love the florals for spring/summer.
ahhh love these! also, love rashida jones, just recently thanks to my US Weekly, figured out she is daughter of quincy jones! how did i not know?! i really love her french couch and style.
Pour me a Guinness wall of Prints.
I would love to have a really good “hang-over” of Guinness on my walls….he he.
Great post but one correction: the flower print in Rashida Jones's NYC apartment is a Donald Baechler. I remember looking it up in the magazine way back when.
