That's a great idea! I'd do it in a heartbeat. It can be hard to find the perfect nightstand anyway—perfect to just search for a dresser instead! Love that bedroom…

I've been thinking about doing this but with a vanity. Add a long-ish/narrow-ish mirror above and a lamp… but I am a little type A in that I crave symmetry and NEEED two nightstands on each side of my bed. My current nightstands are pieces of custom cut wood, 12"x15" (that's all the room I have but it works… I think!) xo

Looks gorgeous but I have the opposite problem – a very narrow area on either side of the bed that barely fits a normal nightstand, let alone a dresser!
Love it! I've always had dressers for night stands. My Mom found two 4-drawer dressers for my childhood room and they keep getting new colors & coats of paint as I grow up and move on. PERFECT for storage!
