20×200 Give Away – Six More Winners!

I realized I had been putting off hanging art in our living room for weeks and weeks because I wanted the gallery wall in there to be perfect. But this month, we’ve have a ton of house guests, so it pushed me to hang some art sooner. It never ceases to amaze me how hanging art makes a home feel personal and alive.

I like how the line of the staircase breaks up the arrangement. Those stairs are not cute to me (more on that later – ugh), so I feel like this is a making lemons out of lemonade sort of thing. 
These are my favorites from 20×200 (who is offering up SIX gift certificates today!). I’ve got my eye on a few of these below. They are available in several different sizes, so I’m thinking about an over-sized print for another wall in the living room (which I think would help balance the gallery wall).
This one might be my favorite of the bunch here.
I always liked this book series, but I recently noticed one of the prints hanging in the 5th Ave. J. Crew, and the colors and the texture are unbelievable in person. Definitely on my wish list now.

I like how this print is sweet, but the double image keeps it from going into precious territory.

This artist photographs images, prints them out and manipulates them to create a new image and photographs the result. So cool.

I grew up in a place where fog didn’t really happen, so every time I come across a mist in the morning, I can’t help but be fascinated. It’s so dreamlike. HERE.
The 20×200 site is jam-packed full of lovely, thoughtfully curated art prints. With the holidays right around the corner, I know I’ll be doing a little shopping for friends and family. I love that I have so many price options since most of the 8×10 sized prints start around $20.

They made me think of my So who travels all the time. 2) my favorite rom the site was a drawing of Paris. Vue panoramique de l'Exposition Universelle, It was new and old at the same time. I liked the sense of it. Thanks!

  18. This is a great giveaway – so much to love! I love the Brooklyn Bridge photo, and many others under Architecture. If I won, it would be so had to choose, but I'd handle it. My daughter just moved to Brooklyn to work in Manhatten so that definitely calls to me.

    Your picture wall is amazing! I've got to learn how to do that!

    You picked most of the prints I would want! I'm not copying you I swear! LOL!

    My first pick is "after the rain" because it reminds me of summer twilight. . .while evoking a melancholy mood. I'd hang it in my bedroom over my nightstand to keep the space from being to pretty and fem. Size 16×20.

    My second pick is prettymaps (dc/baltimore). I'm originally from California, but I've lived in DC for a few years now. The colorful map makes my new home come alive in a girly way. I'd hang it in my entry way kinda like a "you are here" map welcome to visitors. Size 11×14

  37. I've had my eye on Animal Locomotion: Plate 626 (Galloping Horse) by Eadweard Muybridge for quite a while. I live in the Derby city and this would be fabulous on the wall in my new living room.

  38. Oh but of course I am one of the last… The challenges of being indecisive. And of course I ultimately chose the image that I have loved for a long time. I have recently relocated to a new home in a new city in a new state where I know absolutely nobody. Yes, loneliness is more common in my life than ever before, but there is a beauty to solitude that is better expressed by greater minds: "It remains true that loneliness often leads to hostile behavior and that solitude is the climate of hospitality." There is a power in solitude and the freedom from need for external fulfillment that accompanies it. This picture captures that sentiment perfectly for me. What a quiet, lonely, welcoming, magical place. If I can't be sitting atop this slide, I at least want to remind myself that it's there, it's alone, and it's wonderful.
