I’m working on a powder room project that could use a little punch. I love this bathroom published in Lonny. The walls were papered with marbled gift wrap (the same paper I used here). Isn’t this space gorgeous? I love that the direction of the swirls is random – there’s so much movement here!
Here are a few more of my favorite marbled paper walls. It’s a great way to add a little excitement to a wall or a nook:
If you’re in the market for some pretty paper for a project, here are a few of my favorites available online right now, ranging from $3-8 per sheet. I’m thinking one of these could be a winner for my powder bath project.
PS West Elm makes a marble print wallpaper now!
Wow, I love this! I might need to place a dickblick order! I'm into planters… I might need to marble some. Probably best to use impermeable ones for this?
gorgeous! organic and graphic at the same time. thanks for sharing.
Nice! How would you apply/hang the paper?
I tried marbling the other day after reading your post about the marbled light switch :)!! Super fun!! For large paper like the ones above would you use paint instead? If so what would you recommend? The lamp shade is looking good for my next try!
Hi guys!
I'm planning on just using wallpaper paste for walls and mod podge works great for the smaller applications (at least it did for my trash bin project I linked to)! So easy!

I plan on trying to line the inside of a lamp shade with one of these–have you tried that and if so, what glue do you recommend?
I totally love this look. xo
This is EXACTLY what I've been planning to do in my entryway for the past month, but haven't gotten around to. I even googled it to see if it had been done, but didn't come up with anything helpful (used totally different search terms apparently). My favorite source is papermojo.com. Mine was going to be a lot more subtle, but seeing some of these really make me want to place a new order…
Thank you so so much for including my marble wallpaper DIY in your roundup! Made my day little mama!

hi jenny–i've been thinking about using this gorgeous paper from Harlequin in my dining room. It's so beautiful in person, with just a hint of metallic. here's a picture:

I'm using marbled wallpaper in our master makeover right now!! Love it so much.
Hi, Jenny!
That bathroom in the top pic is my BFF Nicki Clendening's of scoutdesignsnyc.com. It's even more gorgeous in person as is everything she touches!

I am so glad I discovered your blog! I already did the Sputnik Maskros DIY, and it looks amazing. Since we are renting I can't marble the entire bathroom (even though I really really want to), but I framed a 30" x 40" marble print over the mantle piece. I. LOVE. IT. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
