We’ve been using some really cheap bar stools that I picked up at a thrift store, but they were pretty rickety and it always made me nervous when little kids would sit on them. It felt unsafe without backs on the stools.

Since we had so many house guests last month, I decided it was time to just bite the bullet and buy the wire stools I’ve been wanting forever. I found a really great deal on eBay with this company called EZ Mod Furniture. I ended up calling them to see if they could expedite my order and they were the NICEST people. So helpful and friendly and they upgraded my shipping for free!

The counter-height bar stools are really, really great too. I’m so happy with them. I think they might get a paint job eventually, but I love the size and the way they look in our space.

  7. Oh, man. So much good stuff. I've been dying for an arc lamp for a while, so I would jump on that Arco Lamp Cube Marble Base!

    Love your new counter stools, too. They would be awesome painted down the line also. I have some powder coated stools we use at our island and I've been wanting to paint them but with all the use they get, I'm not sure what paint will hold up best.

  20. Oh, I love the Sonore solid wood chairs. I have promised ourselves that these falling apart, free from the side of the road chairs will NOT be moving with us to our new house next month!
