So many of you mentioned yesterday that you were dying to get your hands on the Fresh Paint app yourself. Well, here’s your chance! The Fresh Paint team provided me with a tablet with the Windows 8 software, a keyboard dock (making your tablet basically a fully functioning laptop), and a really cool stylus brush to give away so you can create your own masterpieces in Fresh Paint.

  1. Hi Jenny! I just showed my husband your post from yesterday and he shouted, "I want that!". So I told him about today's contest and asked what he would paint. He answered, "a portrait of a hunter and some dogs". Good Lord… Maybe I can encourage him to paint something else. :) Either way, we would love to get our paint-party on over here!

  3. I would love to use the "wet paint" function to paint over pictures of my favorite places. My mom and I love Thomas Kinkade paintings, so I would definitely try making landscapes similar to his style!

  4. OK, I love this app! Oh the many possibilities. If I got my hands on this device I would love to experiment with landscapes. I love old buildings–especially ones with sentimental value. I would paint my family's old feed mill, I would paint the La'ie sunset over the pacific and I would paint the mountains where my husband goes hunting with the his family every fall. Oh it would be wonderful. Good luck choosing!

  6. I would love to make abstracts as soon as they get in my heart. Express the feelings without the need of a hard preparation and selection of materials. Just open up an app and there she goes! painting and splashing and portraying my feelings in the act n_n. Plus! My mom won't be harsh on me because I won't be all splattered with paint

  7. Wow. The possibilities are endless. I've always used pastels because I've found paints to be too fussy – too many steps between me and my vision but with this app I would love to let my vision run wild onto the screen -without the color mixing or clean up!

  10. I'd definitely love to experiment with the "wet paint" feature. But then again, I'd also just like to be able to paint again– painting is such an expensive hobby, so a virtual option would be fantastic!!

  11. Well, I've always wanted to become a Digital Designer, and as such it is my college career! Since I am soon to be finishing High School (i'm a senior graduating in May), this tablet would be a great asset to work towards my goal for designing characters and landscapes using Fresh Paint.

I often regret refusing to take painting lessons the numerous times my parents offered them when I was growing up =) Now, with a house full of kids – I dream of taking a class some day… but the thought of the clean up has me waiting a few more years. So I am moving to London for grad school in August and will be living the A-typical college student lifestyle of eating whatever is cheap and will be desperately wanting something creative to do (since I will be on a tight budget) with whatever off time I have. That is why I would DIG the tablet and sed accessories. Cheers! If I am so lucky, I plan on taking landscape shots as well as portraits of as many people as will let me.
