So many of you mentioned yesterday that you were dying to get your hands on the Fresh Paint app yourself. Well, here’s your chance! The Fresh Paint team provided me with a tablet with the Windows 8 software, a keyboard dock (making your tablet basically a fully functioning laptop), and a really cool stylus brush to give away so you can create your own masterpieces in Fresh Paint.

(one of my recent Fresh Paint creations – I’m loving this app!)

So to enter to win the tablet, keyboard and brush stylus, please leave a comment on this post, sharing what type of painting projects you’d try with the Fresh Paint app. Abstracts? Portraits? Hoping to import a photo in using the “wet paint” function? Feel free to link to inspiration images. We’d love to see!

***This just in! CanvasPop is throwing in a free 12×18 custom canvas print of your masterpiece as part of the give away. How’s that for sweetening the pot? :)

Contest ends Sunday May 5 at midnight. I’ve opened up the comments to allow for unregistered users. The winner will be emailed so please be sure to leave you email address if you’re not signed in. Good luck!

  1. I would love to try my hand at abstracts, but the imported photos part seems amazing for those of us without those artistic skills! Thanks for the opportunity!

  2. The website hosts a variety of return print to choose from. A decals is placed on paper, instead of in the future. print books are expensive; they can't compete with e-books for pricing.
custom stickers A selection of zebra labels, try looking online. print are also meant to reflect the base of the sticker and remember what you told them.

  3. I would love to play with textures, styles, and coloring with the fresh paint app! The whole process looks like so much fun, thanks for sharing!

  4. I would go for old family photos like the one you did of grandma Johnson! My grandma was Swedish too, and I would love to paint her weddingphoto which is hanging in my bedroom.. Other than that I'd live to make paintings of my trips to NYC and Paris with my man! ;)

  5. This is AMAZING! I would like to try a family portrait or…… a pic of my boys (2 sweet labs). Thanks for the opportunity:)

  6. I love how your portrait of your grandma turned out, but I suspect I'd have better luck with abstracts, that way it doesn't have to "look like anything." Though, with that trick you showed us about painting over an imported photos even I might be able to make something lovely AND representational!

  7. A few people in my family are very artistic,so maybe if I win,I will find out whether or not I can be as creative as they are. I would love to attempt to recreate an old pic of my grandmother for my mom for Mothers Day.

  9. I am planning a trip to Iceland next month to attend an art festival. I would love to photograph my trip, do a series of Fresh Paint paintings, then have them printed on canvas and display them in my living room, against my charcoal gray walls.

  10. I would love to make pictures into art. I don't know know that I could do something from scratch but with this I just might try

  11. I'd love to try the fresh paint on an imported photo of my kids, but I'd also like see if I can improve my painting skills (lord knows they could use some improvement.)

  12. I love landscapes but am not a talented enough artist to paint something like that on my own. But mayyyyyyyyyybe I could with the Wet paint feature. It would definitely be fun to try!

  13. My artistic skills are nowhere as good as yours, but it would be fun to import an old photo like you did and play around with it!
And, wow. I have never seen so many comments here before. Where did everyone come from?

  14. I love painting figures. This is actually something I've been wanting to get back into. I haven't been feeling well and stress is a factor, so this might be the perfect medicine!

    Thanks for the opportunity!

  15. The question is, what wouldn't I paint. This looks just too fun. I'd probably start with an imported photo of a landscape.

  16. Abstracts! And updating or modifying photos sounds fun, too. I have attempted to do some real oil painting recently, but with 2 little ones (and another on the way) dealing with the mess (and the slow dry time!) can be a huge hassle!

  17. What an awesome giveaway! I would probably start with an abstract or something of my children. Our house is seriously lacking some art on the walls, what a great way to fill them :)

  18. I love the abstracts, but I might try to use this to create family history heirlooms like Jenny did- I think that is so special. it might also be fun to design the cover of a special birthday card or holiday card- I can think of a hundred uses!
