So many of you mentioned yesterday that you were dying to get your hands on the Fresh Paint app yourself. Well, here’s your chance! The Fresh Paint team provided me with a tablet with the Windows 8 software, a keyboard dock (making your tablet basically a fully functioning laptop), and a really cool stylus brush to give away so you can create your own masterpieces in Fresh Paint.

(one of my recent Fresh Paint creations – I’m loving this app!)

So to enter to win the tablet, keyboard and brush stylus, please leave a comment on this post, sharing what type of painting projects you’d try with the Fresh Paint app. Abstracts? Portraits? Hoping to import a photo in using the “wet paint” function? Feel free to link to inspiration images. We’d love to see!

***This just in! CanvasPop is throwing in a free 12×18 custom canvas print of your masterpiece as part of the give away. How’s that for sweetening the pot? :)

Contest ends Sunday May 5 at midnight. I’ve opened up the comments to allow for unregistered users. The winner will be emailed so please be sure to leave you email address if you’re not signed in. Good luck!

  1. Definitely portraits! They're so lovely and personal. Would also love to try going over old b&w photos, like you did in the other post! xx

  2. This wet paint app absolutely intrigues me – I would love to import some photos and see what happens!

  3. Thank you for this opportunity — I am hoping to become a more creative person. Maybe I have hidden skills as a painter? I'd love to find out! I think importing photos would be a good place to start.

  4. I'm an abstract girl myself. But, I'd love to bring the tablet and program to my high school art classroom and try it out with my students. They would love it!

  6. Love the idea of not getting paints out. Would definitely love to try some abstracts but have tons of ideas brewing… Very cool!

  7. I'd love to try to play with a photograph like you have done! Also, I would probably just sit on the couch for the rest of my life creating 'abstract masterpieces'. So fun!

  8. I would love to try painting portraits of the kids as well as animals and landscapes. All things I am scared to free hand on my own.

  9. I would definately try my hand at an abstract and maybe even import some pictures and use it on that!

  10. I love to paint but like you the mess keeps me from getting to it the way I would like to. I love the idea of being creative without all the production. BTW, Your latest creation is fabulous!!

  11. I love to paint abstracts but the mess and cleanup keeps me from getting to it the way I would like to. This app is perfect!
Btw, your latest creation is fantastic!

  12. I've become a real fan on abstract paintings after a lifetime of not appreciating them. So, I'd "paint" those.

  13. I would love to master portraits and wet paint seems to be able to help!
So if it's open to international viewers, then count me in!

  14. I would definitely like to try out the app to create some painterly landscapes. The possibilities seem endless and I'm sure I'd quickly become a wet paint addict. Thanks for offering such a cool givaway!

  15. I would love to try all types of pictures on the app, but I would be very excited to import a pic of my grandmother in the early 40's from nursing school!

  16. OH my gosh, lovely giveaway. I feel like I have hit a creative wall recently and I would actually try to create abstract paintings and designs to then transfer or create fabrics. I've been wanting to do this but have been lacking the tools. FINGERS CROSSED:)
