On the Lower East Side is an adorable little shop on Orchard, just south of Houston, called Corrente, that sells all sorts of lovely handbags, clutches and wallets.
All of the Corrente products are made locally in Brooklyn from the highest quality materials.
I got to stop in to the shop last week and see all their beautiful pieces in person.
The Italian leather they use is like buttah. Oh so nice.
Some great, classic pieces in exciting colors.
And I love the art deco twist in many of their designs.
While I was there I picked up a lovely Travail bag (in black!) to use as a laptop case for our upcoming trip. It it gorgeous and so well-made. I couldn’t be happier with it.

The Marlow clutch in gray is my favorite! I like the wallet in olive.
Definitely the brown Travail…as for the wallet, black would be my choice.

I love the Metro Pouch in red. But I actually need a new wallet and really like the brown one.
I'm thinking either grey, light pink or olive. But the light pink has such a vintage feel to it so I'd prolly go with that one. Thanks for the great giveaway!

There are lots of beautiful bags on the website – I really like the Metro Pouch with its unique trim around the side zipper. As for the wallet color, I think I would like blush the most since it is so feminine, dainty, and unexpected. I'd smile every time I opened it up!
