First off, Jennifer from Rambling Renovators asked me to participate in her blog series called Great Reads. It’s an awesome round up of lots of bloggers’ favorite post of 2010. Click here to see what post I chose.
Secondly, couldn’t you die over this IKEA hack (also posted on IKEA Hacker)?
It’s just some upholstery nails tacked into an IKEA Besta console ($125)!
This was the inspiration piece, the Visconti cabinet from Bungalow 5 (retails for about $2300).
Such a statement piece! Love it.
Thanks to Jennifer from Rambling Renovators for the heads up on this project. She found it from Anne-Marie at 10 Rooms.
I have been coveting a Michael Berman ottoman with nailhead trim…this is very inspirational! I might need to hack something myself!
Have a wonderful new year – thanks for all of your insights and inspiration.
AMAZING!!!!!!!!

Oh God, amazing! Just LOVE IT. Lately I've been obsessed with nails, I'm still looking around on where to put them or what to get ;)
I'd love to see you do a version of this DIY, Jenny! I'm sure it would be amazing.
Thanks again for joining the tour!
Wow! That's gorgeous!
Wow that is amazing!! I have so many ideas of places to put nailheads now! Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year!
ooh. that's a good one
Now that's cool. Wow.
That must have taken some mad math skills to get the pattern so symmetrical!
I actually like the hack better than the inspiration piece.
Beautiful!!
