L&S really is my go-to source for pretty, reasonably priced fabrics. Here’s what would be on my short list, if I had a $100 gift card to use at L&S:

I use this Fioretto fabric in a lot of projects and it just might be making an appearance in our next apartment. It makes for really beautiful drapes and great pillows.

No need to remind you about this suzani print. I use it all the time. And I get it from L&S.

These two fabrics below would make for some AMAZING curtain panels:

blue and white

yellow links

Leopard print is my favorite animal print. This one is just the right size and uses the right amount of black for me. I love that it’s a little bit ikat-ish.

Caitlin pointed out recently that this fretwork fabric looks really similar to one of my favorite China Seas patterns, Java Java.

My friend Katy used this link fabric on the euro shams in her bedroom.

Want to copy the skirted console we did in my parent’s living room? Here’s where you can get the ikat fabric.

To enter to win the $100 voucher, please check out the Lewis and Sheron site and leave a comment with your favorite pattern and what project you’d use the fabric for.

Readers who add L&S as a Facebook friend will get an extra entry.

Contest closes Sunday, July 11 at midnight. The winning entry will be selected by random.org. Good luck!!

  1. This is quite a task to pick a favorite but I've been looking for something in the yellow family to make either curtains or pillows in our living room. I am enjoying R-Elyse in yellow! I lso like the pearson in steel for drapes or pillow in our master bedroom!

  4. Are you kidding me? This is the best giveaway ever! How could I even choose…no idea. I would go with something in a small scale neutral for the little antique love seat I've been wanting to recover.

  5. Belgian Lace for me! I imagine a couple of pillows, or maybe a cool lampshade, or even a window covering. Thank you for sharing your fabric go to store. I have added them to my favorites!

  6. Oh I love this store! I would choose something from the ikat section. Possibly Bedazzle in Blue Sky to add some much needed pizazz to my informal living room. Their ikat selection is giving me lots of fun ideas!

  7. L&S is my favorite fabric shop, they are so easy to work with and always so helpful. Right now, I'm loving Couture Kingdom and think it would make a divine box pleat bed skirt with a few matching euro shams.

  8. I LOVE THIS! I have been searching for a great Ikat to upholster some great rattan chairs I got an estate sale. I love the Ikat: Kandar: Jewel but it's out of stock – of course! There are a few other Ikats that have blue in them that I'd choose to coordinate with the navy blue dresser I just redid from Craigslist!!!

    Thanks so much!

  9. I love so many of them! My top pick would probably be Small Talk in Black Bird – I'd use it to make curtains for my kitchen window.

  10. This is perfect timing! I am currently shopping for fabric to re-upholster 2 side chairs for my living room. I have a navy blue couch that I would like to coordinate the fabric with. Here are my top choices: Cumbria, Majella, and Tribal Thread.

  11. Great giveaway, thank you! It is so hard to choose just one favorite on the L&S site, but I love cats cradle in river. It would be great on a pair of amazing white chairs I'm waiting to reupholster. Big thanks for the giveaway and all the inspiration!

  12. wow!!! I am loving the Fioretto- I wish i had seen this print earlier- i just purchased one similar from Duralee but twice the price per yard! but I would still LOVE LOVE a $100 voucher for some of their yummy fabric! I am sooo bookmarking their site in my fabric folder. Thanks!!!!!

  13. Oh I looooove their Fioretto print! I'm redoing my living room in neutrals/lime/light blue…. some throw pillows made with the Fioretto would add some fantastic texture! Fingers crossed!

  14. i'm lucky to live so close to such a beautiful store! hoping to pick up the carino print-maybe an accent curtain fabric. thanks for the giveaway!

  15. Hi Jenny – Thanks for posting this! I cannot tell you how many Google/eBay searches I've done for "lattice" or "trellis" fabric, only to turn up page after page of hideously wrong fabrics. I had my heart set on a geometric, dove-gray fabric for drapes in our living room – I think Fioretto might win.

  16. I'd use the yellow links fabric for the windows in my office—it's the perfect pattern! Honestly, though, there are so many great fabrics on that site to choose from!

  17. So many great patterns at GREAT prices! I love the Cross Section in Charcoal, as well as the Unlinxed in Spa. I need some new pillows to update my sofa!

  18. I am totally in agreement with you on the blue and white (Parterre, Porcelain 673304) making fantastic curtain panels! I have been looking for a way to introduce blue into my predominantly red and neutral color scheme. I think this fabric would be perfect!

  19. I'd go for the ikat or fioretto fabric. I have some faux bamboo chairs that are ready to be recovered. Thanks for this great opportunity!

  20. Oh the endless options…

Just moved into a new place & would love to slipcover a console with the Cross Section – Charcoal

  21. Oooh, I would be so excited to finally replace the temporary paper shades that we've been sporting for nearly a year now while I've searched and searched for the perfect (read: inexpensive enough) fabric to make some window treatments.

I would pick Rumelia in cafe. Or maybe Fioretto. Too many great ones to choose from!

  22. I would use the leopard print that you have in the post to recover an old sewing mannequin I found on Craigslist. Its need a little flair before making it into the craft room.

  23. I think I love the R-Elyse yellow fabric. I'm actually learning how to sew so that I can make custom curtains and pillows for the house my husband and I just renovated (by ourselves!). Hopefully I'll eventually move up to reupholstering. I'm full of lofty goals :)

PS I didn't know this until I went to their site, but they are literally walking distance from my house in Atlanta! How convenient… and dangerous.

  24. Pearson in steel would love to upholster the sad chair waiting to be used in my living room.

    So many great options!

  25. I'm trying to finally decorate our master bedroom but pesky unexpected expenses keep coming up. I hate when that happens! I would use Felton, prestigious, aviary and cornwall in the bedroom.

  26. I've been searching for over a year for the perfect (and affordable) fabric to make roman shades for my ginormous living room windows. I think the green fretwork (Cross Section) fabric is the one! Also love the Cat's Cradle in green.
