Welcome to our newest LGN sponsor: La Plates!

La Plates offers personalized 10″ melamine plates, salad/dinner plates, platters, placemats, acrylic trays and ice buckets, cups and napkins, coolers and totes.

Lara Shelton started La Plates in 2008 with the goal of bringing fashionably hip and casual/kid-friendly designs to the table. And I think it’s safe to say that she has been wildly successful in reaching that goal. Her monogrammed dinnerware and accessories are so gorgeous and so fun.

Fun dinnerware for outdoor or indoor place settings:

And there are great acrylic trays, for the lucite lover in all of us:

Remember this bag that I posted about in December? La Plates carries it!! I just got mine from La Plates last week, and I have to say that I LOVE it. It is big, but not ridiculously so. I’ve been using it as a work bag and it is perfect for all my paint decks and fabric samples, a laptop and notepads. It would make a really great diaper bag too. I get all sorts of compliments on it when I’m out and about.

La Plates is kindly offering a set of four custom salad/dinner plates for one lucky LGN reader. To enter, please check out the La Plates site and leave a comment with the style of plate and monogram of your choice.

I’m having a hard time choosing between the clover, Greek key, modern, and squares patterns. And there is something to be said for the solid plate…choices, choices!!

Comments will be closed Sunday, March 14 at midnight.

P.S. the code LGN10 will get readers 10% off all plates, platters & placemats. Thank you, La Plates!

  1. i've been lusting hard over plates like these for years and would love to pick out a style – but unfortunately the la plates website is not loading for me!

  2. We're finally seeing the sun in Northern California and these are perfect for some barbecuing! I want the Greek key with hot pink monogram…..

  3. These plates are both fun and sophisticated! Love them. I'm having a hard time choosing b/w the vines and squares designs…but the single script initial

  4. I also like the squares with the center square single initial!

Love your blog by the way, read it from start to today's and this is my first post!

  5. I love the square design with a single initial surrounded by a border (like the yellow and green plate on the left side of the picture). I love these plates!

  6. I absolutely adore these plates! It's hard to pick between them… I would love to win the Squares plate with a single intial (being that I am still still single!)

Thanks so much for all of your inspiration and great ideas!

  7. My mind is reeling; I think I would pick the chevron in royal blue w/ green single letter. Pretty much anything with royal blue though, I just can't get enough.

  8. These plates are great!
I LOVE the square print background, in turquoise, with a round initial in the center in orange. I can already see them on my table! :)

  9. I would love the knots and circle plate. I purchased the knots platter last summer and would love the matching plates! Thanks!

  10. I've been eying these since the holidays! (Got some for a friend but want some for myself) I would love the orange chevron with my initials in blue :)

  11. LOVE this site! Thanks for posting! I have seen then in stores but never knew where to look at them online! I would die for the navy clovers plate with a script monogram in turquoise

  12. These plates are fabulous and four of them would be perfect for our soon-to-be family of four! I would go with greek key in khaki with a big fat W in navy! Thanks!

  13. These are FANTASTIC! How sweet would these be as a present for a special little one?? I *think* (today, right now;) I'd choose the Modern Plate in turquoise with a red single initial in the Roman font. SO MUCH FUN!!!

  14. I'd love the Modern Plates in brown with the square single initial in light blue (my two favorite colors). These are so fun!

  15. I would adore a set in green to off-set the formal feeling of my traditional china. With a big "D" in the middle. Pick me!
