By now I’m sure you’ve picked up on the fact that we’re on a strict budget this year. “Make it do, or do without” is the motto.
I bought this column/plant stand thingy a few years ago at a thrift store for about $0.50. I’ve never really had a good use for it, so when I needed a new small side table, this little guy fell into the line of fire.
I epoxied a cheap pre-cut wooden round from Lowes to the top and spray painted the whole thing white (because that’s the color I had on hand).
I might go back with a punchier color later. But I like the white for now. Easy and very cheap is my favorite kind of project.
This is so genius and chic, love it, great job…what an inspiration!
Looks amazing! And costly!
This loooks just fabulous! You did it again girl, pulled over a simply AMAZING look on a dime!
The table looks great (as do ALL your little DIY projects), but what I'm really swooning over is the table vignette from your previous house!
Brilliant. I love this kind of creativity. And I love your motto.
Stunning. And I love how cost effective it is. Great creativity!
I love it! Your pic with you new table and purple chair is gorgeous, magazine worthy! Great job.
Wow, very creative. I can't believe you bought it for so cheap too! Looks really beautiful by that chair.

Great job! I love that sunburst above your console table!
Love how this turned out. It looks wonderful as a new side table.

I love the idea of repurposing something you already own — especially when it's something that formerly didn't serve much use.
Looks great!
It looks stunning! I must say that you're a really great photographer! The lighting and everything is perfect!
Lovely! I feel like that could look cool in a really bright color, like a kelly green or orange or something. Or if you don't want to burn your retinas then white, which is very cool as well.
You have inspired me to go thrifting and see what catches my eye – your creativity is infectious! Do you take your own photos? It's clear I have no skill comparatively
I LOVE your side table (end table? whatever table?) that has the stools underneath it. I have my go to vintage furniture store, but I definitely need to do some more thrifting.
This is so great! Thank you for another inspiring DIY. :D
I look forward to your display of projects around the home! You do a great job and inspire another who is "on a constant budget"!
This turned out so well! I love before and after's.
Love this idea! Definitely bookmarked the post for future reference!

Great idea! I have a chair almost exactly like that (different color though) and have been looking for a round little table to go with it. :)
