I received all kinds of emails about the fabric that reader Banks used on her pelmet box:
Banks also used the Invigodk pattern to line her freshly painted china hutch.
She also had some of the fabric laminated and upholstered her now kid-proof dining chairs!
Banks was kind enough to hunt down the maker and name of the fabric. It’s milled by Richloom, called Invigodk in Confetti. She bought her yardage at Forsyth Fabrics in Atlanta. For those of us not local, the fabric is available online at Orien Textiles.
And in related news, I found myself in Pier 1 a few days ago and remembered that Banks had mentioned that there was a chair there in the Invigodk pattern.
I think it’s pretty. Even though I think you lose a bit of the pattern with the tufting, I still like the details.
It’s a pretty small slipper chair and would be perfect for an apartment or dorm room. Or a nursery. It’s on sale for $199.

I saw that fabric at Forsyth too. They are really good about finding fabric and shipping it to you if anyone is interested. Even if you don't have the information you can e-mail them a picture and they can find it if they still have it. Love the chair too although I agree about the tufting.

Love this fabric! May be the perfect way to tie together a green swirl rug and red painted furniture (without it looking like Christmas) in my nursery when I move my daughter to her "big girl" room. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you, I remember loving that! I don't know if this makes a difference or not, but I was about to order some fabric from Orient Textiles because it was half the price of my local retail shop, when my designer noticed it was "Seconds Quality" and said to stay away from that. I noticed this fabric is too. I don't know enough about fabrics, but just thought I'd point it out.

I love all the colors and how they accent each other but yet stay pleasant to the eye. The fabric is such a wonderful surprise in Banks decorating. The white table with the fabric is wonderful!

Would you know of any really good fabric stores in San Diego or Orange County CA, that aren't super expensive? There in Mood in Los Angeles, but that's a day trip, so just looking for something a little closer. When I can make it to LA, I want to go to Mood! Thank you!
