For years I have used foundation to cover up my horrendous freckles. I have always been unhappy with the way my skin looks. I decided it was time to find a product that would make it appear as if I have no freckles. I found a website called The Skin Spot. They have a serum that is supposed to correct discoloration on the skin. I decided to purchase it and I fell in love instantly. This product is not for everybody, but it is my ride-or-die product. I have always been very insecure about my skin, but now I can go out not worrying about what my skin looks like. I love it! If you have any questions about my skin type or the products I use, feel free to leave a comment down below or see more information here:https://theskinspot.com/

Hello! Long time reader, first time commenting. In regards to running and your knees being unhappy, have you been fitted for running shoes? I am the same age as you, and when I ran my first marathon at 29, I wore some cheap shoes from a big box store. My left hip was killing me. My coworker recommended going to a specialty running store to get fitted. The store I went to has you run on a treadmill with sensors to evaluate what you need in a shoe- stability, cushion, support, weight, etc. I also got tips on improving my form. When I ran with my fitted shoes, the hip pain was immediately gone and I consistently ran mile splits about 15 seconds faster. Because my body felt better, I got more joy out of running. Because I got more joy, I ran more often. I am faster, stronger and a more confident runner at 36 than I ever was in my 20s. I always thought those stores were for "serious " runners, but I think novice/casual runners should check it out. I cannot recommend getting fitted enough!

What is it about that Cover Girl mascara!? I have also tried other, more expensive mascara and always go back to Cover Girl. I use the Exhibitionist formula now and just love it! Good suggestions here - might have to check them out!

Urgh, skin care is so hard! I'm 32 now and I never had bad acne in my 20s (I would get a pimple here and there but nothing major) but I've always had redness and this has gotten tenfold worse since I've turned 30. In the last year, I've developed these large red blotches on my face that are not going away no matter what I try. I can't even walk around without makeup because I'm so embarrassed! I've finally gone to my doctor to get a referral to a dermatologist (it's covered under our universal health care in Canada if you are referred by your family doctor however it can take 6 months to a year before you get an appointment). I got my referral in February and my appointment is scheduled for November (sigh). But hopefully they can figure out what's going on and suggest treatments (I'm thinking I'm gonna need some laser treatment of some kind). I've been trying different products over the years, trying to up my game as well. But that world is so hard to navigate because there's so many products out there.
