I did something very interesting recently…I attended a panel discussion about “Life After Baby,” part of the Wine and Gyn series, moderated by Naama Bloom, founder, and CEO of HelloFlo. Bloom led a frank discussion of postpartum issues. Panelists included Logan Levkoff, Ph.D., sexuality educator, sexologist, and author; Dr. Jaquelline Perlman, gynecologist; and Keech Combe Shetty, co-CEO of Combe Inc. (the maker of Vagisil®). The message was simple: Every pregnancy is different, and every woman’s experience is different. But moms must take care of their physical and mental health first.
