I went to Lowes and the two ladies who work in the window treatment department were just putting the shades on the clearance cart. They advised against buying them as they said the hardware breaks. Even though they were cheap, they said "don't waste your money".

Thank you so much! We redecorated our master bedroom and guest room recently and I have been wanting to get rid of the old miniblinds and change them to woven roman blinds. I have to buy the ones that are lined (and more expensive) because the rooms face east and the sunlight filtering through unlined ones would prevent us from sleeping in on weekends. That was an expense I have been putting off. I went to Lowe's after I saw your post and I found dark brown fabric roman shades that will work perfectly! They were regularly priced at $34.97 each and I got them for about $10.50 each!! My store only had 3 so I had to drive to the next nearest store to get one more that I needed. I saved about $100! More savings if I consider the price I would have paid for lined woven shades. I am thrilled that I have found a much more affordable option! Thanks, again!
