					<description><![CDATA[Bummer, Sarah! How many coats did you spray? It must be the finish on your hardware. You can use a deglosser on the hardware, but at this point I would probably just sand or lightly scuff up your sprayed hardware, spray on a primer coat (Kilz is the best), then two light coats of the gold and then a light clear coat on top. Rustoleum makes a great clear coat.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Hope that helps!&lt;br /&gt;xo]]></description>

Quick question - I used this exact spray paint on my hardware and have been having a lot of trouble with it scratching and coming off.  Do you have any tips for keeping it from doing that?  I didn&#039;t even put the knobs on for several days after painting to be sure it dried.
