  1. WE just bought our first home and we close next week!! The kitchen was renovated in the 50's and has white laminate with metal casings…

Needless to say, I think I nice light fixture over the breakfast nook would be nice. I thought I would want a chandelier, but I really like the color of the glass in this lamp:

The house was built in the 1930's, maybe this type of lamp would go with the traditional architecture through out…

Thanks for all the inspiration! I'm excited to stop renting.

  2. This one would look great in my dining room!

…but then again anything looks better than a dangling pig tail light bulb.

  3. My summer goal is to address the lighting in our apartment. I just bought lamps for the bedside tables, installed a dimmer in the living room and properly hung the ceiling fixture in the hallway (it has been an improvised hang for a few months). This $250 will help me finish the rest of the place! I have also been pondering undertaking the tutorial you posted a few days ago…

I'm liking this one for the hallway:

  4. I am so in love with #4 AND #22 above. I went to lamps.com and become so overwhelmed that I'm glad you did the curation for me. I'd put #4 above my dining room table and #22 in my new baby's nursery!!
