You mention in your post it smelled more like linseed oil, but then in one of your comments you said something about "fumey". I have a metal cabinet I need to paint to protect it from rust and since the weather has gotten colder I can't use the spray paint.

Smell is my biggest pet peeve in all paints, but I need the rust protection. I am thinking of doing it in a back room I don't use and with fans. Do you think it would be to bad that way?

Also, how long did you let the coats dry. I am notorious for not waiting long enough and I want to make sure I'm patient enough.
