You guys make me feel good! :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anon #1: You&#039;re right that our place is brick-front, but I think the term &#039;brownstone&#039; is sort of a universal one? Hope it doesn&#039;t bug you too much. I guess I just don&#039;t know what else to call it. A townhouse? The real estate listing called it a brownstone, so I guess that&#039;s why I&#039;ve been using that term.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anon #3: As someone who has lived in six different states, four of the places being major metropolitan cities, and also a stint in Europe, I can tell you none of the house-hunts anywhere have compared to my experiences looking for homes here in the NYC area. It&#039;s a different beast altogether! But you&#039;re right in that it&#039;s a hard thing to do anywhere.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;j]]></description>
