I usually lurk...but love your blog.

With regard to your daughter and the hives...I got them last year and ended in ER twice. Nothing I tried would get rid of them...not even cortisone.

Finally on the internet I read about combining two meds to get rid of hives and it was a miracle....they were gone in hours!

The first med is Zantac (an H1 blocker for the stomach) and the other is Atarax (an H2 blocker antihistamine). Apparently when you just take the antihistamine for allergies it just blocks one type of histamine, but if you combine the two, it gets rid of most allergies.

Anyway....just a suggestion. I feel for anyone who has to deal with the hell that is hives.

I hope your girls feel better real soon and you and the hubby recooperate!!! Ive been home with all 3 of my boys… just 2 had fever (thank gd nothing more) and the 3rd HAD TO stay home also ha. I love the x benches esp the ones with the legs with curves.
