I love the white with gold look, but it does look outdated and the white color looks yellowed in my modern house. I am encouraged by the idea of painting the hardware ALL white and painting the dresser a really bold color. I think this blog post may just give me the confidence I need to completely transform my old white and gold nightstand.

I especially love the mirrors behind the IKEA shelves. It makes it looks much more expensive, and I wouldn't immediately have thought that it was IKEA.
