I use Lewis and Sheron all the time and can completely vouch for their online customer service skills. That doesn’t mean I’m not totally jealous of all you lucky Atlanta readers that can visit L&S in person!

The easiest way to spruce up your home is to introduce a new fabric with some pillows, a little stool or bench or some new drapes. L&S is giving away another $100 to one of you readers. Here are some ideas to get you thinking about how you would use the gift card:

Josef Frank fabrics are bright, bold and…expensive.

Get the look for less with this cheery botanical.

I love the damask on these wing chairs. I think the less graphic, more washed out look is nice.

House Beautiful

Here’s an upholstery weight substitute fabric:

Tobi Fairley used this green geometric for these great wing backs:

Red on red trellis sort of reminds me of David Hick’s La Florentina.

I will never not love this little skirted zebra ottoman featured in Cottage Living and this fabric is a dead ringer:

Toile can be really sophisticated in the right space (like this Paris apt featured in Elle Decor, via Habitually Chic). This inexpensive toile is a good choice.

Paisley feels really fresh to me right now.

This red floral is an inexpensive Chiang Mai Dragon look-a-like.

I love arm chairs in a pretty suzani print.

Kravet’s Lutron in this mushroom and teal colorway is a more subdued way to take on a big pattern and some color.

This inky, dark print would be as kid and pet-friendly as it is stylish on a piece of furniture:

Enter to win $100 to Lewis and Sheron by visiting their website and leaving a comment on this post with what fabric you would chose and what you would do with the yardage.

Contest closes Sunday, March 28 at midnight. The winner will be chosen at random and this post will be updated with the winner’s name.

Good luck!

***CONGRATULATIONS to Arlynn! We’ll be in touch with your gift certificate! Thanks!!***

  1. i was in to l&s a couple of weeks ago, and would use this wonderful marigold yellow ikat inspired fabric to make the perfect curtains to warm up my robin's egg blue bedroom. love, love, love l&s.

  2. Just found their "Bokara" print the other day. Perfect splash of color for a bench in my otherwise beige family room!

  3. The first project that comes to find is recovering two accent chairs. Ellora robins egg is great but all the damask fabrics are beautiful too.

  4. I would absolutely love the Great Spot in Chartreuse multi (item #1084727)… it is perfect for my nursery design I'm working on! It would become a slipcover for an ottoman. Oh man. I don't know if I can wait until a winner is announced…

  5. Since my husband finally agreed we need curtains in the dining room to keep our family from being on display like caged animals, I would make curtains…. I mean have someone make curtains for me out of the Nasha Ikat fabric.

  6. one of the ikat fabrics would be one i would try to convince my husband to let the living room sofa reupholstered in it. after seeing all the comments, i think my chances of convincing my husband are greater than winning the L & S giveaway (sigh)

  7. My dining room needs drapes! I would use the Inner Circle fabric for this. What a great website and thanks for the giveaway!

  8. I would love to use the Calder fabric in Licorice to recover an ottoman I acquired free recently. I would love to test my home-upholstering skills on a free ottoman.

  9. Ooh, so many favourites that I've made a list:

Linen 1011109 to slip cover my dining chairs
Script 357 – I'd frame and hang it
Velvet Milan 8712 or palermo – large cushions for my sofa
Carmen ikat in pale aqua – cover a long bench
Spicer hvy Basket in grey – a panel for a glass door

    Thanks for sharing.

  10. For sure the Fioretto Graphite to re-cover a thrift store chair ( a classic beauty) in my neutral taupe and ivory tone bedroom…love it!

  11. where do i begin….thank you for this great giveaway! dagmar, cross section, ellis, hl belame, fioretto, gadzooks, jazzy, rhomy for curtains in my office!
maybe wesley, birmingham, essential stripe, or mettalic stripe for my baby boys room!

  12. The "Teen" fabric section was not what I thought it would be! I would choose Lattice and spruce up my couches with new pillow covers… It's in desperate need of an update!

  13. Thanks for directing me to L&S, love their fabrics! I would love to recover our kitchen seats in an outdoor fabric like Santa Fe. And Pallas BZV7 would make gorgeous pillows for my tired looking sofa in the formal living room.

  14. Very nice … I just took a look at their offerings and found something that would work great for some curtains I am needing – it was an orange floral – very nice indeed!!!

  15. Hi! I would choose the Ellora fabric in Robin's Egg – I'm getting married this summer and moving to (of all places) Atlanta! I've just started putting together design boards for our new house and the Ellora would look fabulous on an existing chair I have with a more neutral couch! Pick me, please!

  16. Looking at all that fabric overwhelms me much like when my mom used to let me go to the cereal aisle and pick out my own cereal…soooo many choices! I am gonna go with Style 20864 (why doesn't it have a fabulous name like "Hicks' Sharpie Paisley"?)…a spa colored fabric with big black on cream paisleys…L-O-V-E…I want to go dramatic in our master bedroom and paint the walls a charcoal and this fabric would make great euro pillows on the bed

  17. L&S! The Latika print would look fantastic on some sound boards I would like to hang in my office.

  18. Wow, they have an amazing selection for an online shop! My prize would go towards some trim for a roman shade project I have in the works!! Thanks for all your inspiration Jenny :)

  19. Green Geometric for sure: Lattice 25244. I would cover the sad chair that got left out when the fabric company discountinued the white cotton duck I used on his friend.

  20. I love L&S!! I've been there a few times and it is amazing! I really don't know what I would choose! So many good things, but I do want to slip-cover two wingback chairs in a linen fabric, so that's probably what I would pick. THANKS!
