I use Lewis and Sheron all the time and can completely vouch for their online customer service skills. That doesn’t mean I’m not totally jealous of all you lucky Atlanta readers that can visit L&S in person!

The easiest way to spruce up your home is to introduce a new fabric with some pillows, a little stool or bench or some new drapes. L&S is giving away another $100 to one of you readers. Here are some ideas to get you thinking about how you would use the gift card:

Josef Frank fabrics are bright, bold and…expensive.

Get the look for less with this cheery botanical.

I love the damask on these wing chairs. I think the less graphic, more washed out look is nice.

House Beautiful

Here’s an upholstery weight substitute fabric:

Tobi Fairley used this green geometric for these great wing backs:

Red on red trellis sort of reminds me of David Hick’s La Florentina.

I will never not love this little skirted zebra ottoman featured in Cottage Living and this fabric is a dead ringer:

Toile can be really sophisticated in the right space (like this Paris apt featured in Elle Decor, via Habitually Chic). This inexpensive toile is a good choice.

Paisley feels really fresh to me right now.

This red floral is an inexpensive Chiang Mai Dragon look-a-like.

I love arm chairs in a pretty suzani print.

Kravet’s Lutron in this mushroom and teal colorway is a more subdued way to take on a big pattern and some color.

This inky, dark print would be as kid and pet-friendly as it is stylish on a piece of furniture:

Enter to win $100 to Lewis and Sheron by visiting their website and leaving a comment on this post with what fabric you would chose and what you would do with the yardage.

Contest closes Sunday, March 28 at midnight. The winner will be chosen at random and this post will be updated with the winner’s name.

Good luck!

***CONGRATULATIONS to Arlynn! We’ll be in touch with your gift certificate! Thanks!!***

  1. I really like the kids' great spot and fancy. I'd make fancy dresses for my daughter.

I also want to make an upholstered headboard for our bed and curlique would be gorgeous.

  2. I like the Ellora pattern… and the 20987 floral pattern… and the Ellis pattern… and the Galena pattern… how would I pick?! I would make a roman shade for my kitchen. My first attempt wasn't much of a success. Second time's a charm? I think the beautiful fabric would help! :)

  3. ohhhhhh!!! my hubby and i are going to try our hand at making an upholstered headboard. i think the Sophie Pear fabric would be perfect!!!

  4. I literally JUST ordered 6 swatches of different ikat and damask patterns from L&S, one of which will hopefully be used for a DIY upholstered headboard! Really hope I win!!!

  5. I like the Mayer Bk and Bianc in Java! I've just recently taught myself to sew and have been wanting to make a cushion for our built in window seat. I have the cushion all cut to size and ready to go, I've just been waiting for the perfect fabric. L&S has tons!

  6. I'm pretty gaga over the very organic (both eco and in design) chevron (style 1011253) but could never afford it without winning! I would make pillows for our master bedroom.

  7. I love fabric #20991 (it doesn't have a name- just a number). Its a pretty blueberry and white ikat with a hazy, watercolor feel to it. I'd make throw pillows or curtains for my guest room.
Thanks for bringing this store to my attention!

  8. I LOVE L&S – and am lucky to live in Atlanta so I can visit the store. I would pick a fabric for window treatments in my dining room. It really needs sprucing up!

  9. I'm loving Felton in Chili… I'd use it to make cushions for the furniture I plan on buying for my new patio that I'm building this spring!

  10. Fortunately, I live in Atlanta and get to visit L&S a lot! I can vouch for their in-store customer service, too. I love the fioretta fabric in graphite for new pillows!

  11. Hi Jenny

Love your blog! I would love to use Juniper in Linen for some new pillows for my chesterfield sofa in my home office.

By the way, Lewis & Sheron is an interior design junkie's dream! ;)

  12. I have been thinking about the Chocolate McKinley fabric for months now, I even have a sample someone brought back for me, for my master bedroom drapes. The rod has been up and empty for about 1.5 years now!

  13. I would totally go with one of their lovely IKAT fabrics, probably the rosalie. I have a pair of chairs that I'd love to reupholster!
