I use Lewis and Sheron all the time and can completely vouch for their online customer service skills. That doesn’t mean I’m not totally jealous of all you lucky Atlanta readers that can visit L&S in person!

The easiest way to spruce up your home is to introduce a new fabric with some pillows, a little stool or bench or some new drapes. L&S is giving away another $100 to one of you readers. Here are some ideas to get you thinking about how you would use the gift card:

Josef Frank fabrics are bright, bold and…expensive.

Get the look for less with this cheery botanical.

I love the damask on these wing chairs. I think the less graphic, more washed out look is nice.

House Beautiful

Here’s an upholstery weight substitute fabric:

Tobi Fairley used this green geometric for these great wing backs:

Red on red trellis sort of reminds me of David Hick’s La Florentina.

I will never not love this little skirted zebra ottoman featured in Cottage Living and this fabric is a dead ringer:

Toile can be really sophisticated in the right space (like this Paris apt featured in Elle Decor, via Habitually Chic). This inexpensive toile is a good choice.

Paisley feels really fresh to me right now.

This red floral is an inexpensive Chiang Mai Dragon look-a-like.

I love arm chairs in a pretty suzani print.

Kravet’s Lutron in this mushroom and teal colorway is a more subdued way to take on a big pattern and some color.

This inky, dark print would be as kid and pet-friendly as it is stylish on a piece of furniture:

Enter to win $100 to Lewis and Sheron by visiting their website and leaving a comment on this post with what fabric you would chose and what you would do with the yardage.

Contest closes Sunday, March 28 at midnight. The winner will be chosen at random and this post will be updated with the winner’s name.

Good luck!

***CONGRATULATIONS to Arlynn! We’ll be in touch with your gift certificate! Thanks!!***

  1. Fabric Ikat

    Back

    Style Khanjali

    Color Peacock

I'd get this for drapes! scg00387 at yahoo dot com

  2. Beautiful fabrics. I have an antique rocker I would like to recover. I found several possibilities. Venetian Ottoman, #357 and Calvin.
    Thanks Debra

  3. I would get the Rumelia ikat in platinum. I have a cane-sided club chair that I picked up for $10 that needs to be recovered. That fabric would be perfect!

  4. I have a swatch of the Anatolia in Cafe that I've been wanting to order to make drapes for my dining room window!

  5. Oh my gosh… so many projects that I could use some gorgeous fabric!! Either something for window treatments in my office area, or to upholster my ottoman!!

  6. Gorgeous stuff! I've been searching for fabric for my living room drapes.I was having such a hard time finding stuff I like and now I don't know what to pick, they are all amazing!

  7. I might go with something like Ambrose – I have an old, thrifted pleather "Brady Bunch" chair that could be beautiful in my bedroom in a nice neutral rather than the plastic gold it is today!

  8. I would love some new drapes for my living room. However on our student budget I'm always looking for a good deal or even better, free. I would love a really bold colorful print.
I appreciate all the work you put into this blog and how much I've learned about interior decorating and the names of all of these patterns that I've seen and loved for years but never knew their name.

  9. I ordered some fabric from this store after you mentioned it in a previous post! LOVE their selection. I would use one of their amazing ikat fabrics to reupholster our old club chair, although that green geometric pattern has me thinking about taking things in a while new direction…

  10. Thanks for your wonderful, inspiring blog. I need to recover a couple of dining chairs and make some pillows for my sofa. There are many wonderful patterns, but I was liking Illuminate and Palmo among others.

  11. I had not yet heard of this store…so thank you!

I think I would order some HL Oldham in Raspberry, which features a large horizontal stripe, and redo my daughter's room. We have 4 girls, 5 and under, and I am SO in need of some fresh ideas for their rooms.

  12. Well, I really need to buy some upholstery weight linen to make a new slipcover for my rocking chair….but I might have to buy that green lattice instead and make curtains for the living room!

  13. Oh, I love the inky dark one you showcased at the end. I've been meaning to re-upholster some antique dining chairs that I inherited from my grandmother.

  14. L&S has been great for my other projects. I'd choose Slick to cover some benches and give my traditional dining room a more modern bent with geometric-print curtains!

  15. Kamali Kilim!

I want to make drapes to go over my French doors to block out the Southern sun this summer!

Thanks for the giveaway, Jenny and L&S!

  16. I would either use the khandar ikat fabric to reupholster a chair for my living room, or the OD Soho for some privacy panels we are planning to make for our deck.

Love all the photo inspirations…you have such a knack, thanks for all the ideas :)!

  17. what a great post and what a great giveaway. I would love to make curtains for my boys' room with the "Stacks" in spa color. So cute!

  18. Hey, I'm comment #500! That should be worth something, shouldn't it?

I would get Oshie in navy for some floor-length drapes in my office.

  19. I absolutely need the Cross Section print in charcoal to go with the Llyta Firecracker roman shade I had made for my bathroom!

  20. Great Fabric! My boyfriend was trying to be nice and "surprise me" with a new kitchen table and chairs. Ugh! Not my style… I would use one of their funky animal prints or ikat to try to make it a little more my style. There are sooo many to choose from, I've been looking at them for hours and can hardly narrow it down!

  21. Hmm, so many choices! I would probably go with an outdoor fabric, like Bertie or Ticking Stripe, to make patio furniture cushions/pillows.
