I use Lewis and Sheron all the time and can completely vouch for their online customer service skills. That doesn’t mean I’m not totally jealous of all you lucky Atlanta readers that can visit L&S in person!

The easiest way to spruce up your home is to introduce a new fabric with some pillows, a little stool or bench or some new drapes. L&S is giving away another $100 to one of you readers. Here are some ideas to get you thinking about how you would use the gift card:

Josef Frank fabrics are bright, bold and…expensive.

Get the look for less with this cheery botanical.

I love the damask on these wing chairs. I think the less graphic, more washed out look is nice.

House Beautiful

Here’s an upholstery weight substitute fabric:

Tobi Fairley used this green geometric for these great wing backs:

Red on red trellis sort of reminds me of David Hick’s La Florentina.

I will never not love this little skirted zebra ottoman featured in Cottage Living and this fabric is a dead ringer:

Toile can be really sophisticated in the right space (like this Paris apt featured in Elle Decor, via Habitually Chic). This inexpensive toile is a good choice.

Paisley feels really fresh to me right now.

This red floral is an inexpensive Chiang Mai Dragon look-a-like.

I love arm chairs in a pretty suzani print.

Kravet’s Lutron in this mushroom and teal colorway is a more subdued way to take on a big pattern and some color.

This inky, dark print would be as kid and pet-friendly as it is stylish on a piece of furniture:

Enter to win $100 to Lewis and Sheron by visiting their website and leaving a comment on this post with what fabric you would chose and what you would do with the yardage.

Contest closes Sunday, March 28 at midnight. The winner will be chosen at random and this post will be updated with the winner’s name.

Good luck!

***CONGRATULATIONS to Arlynn! We’ll be in touch with your gift certificate! Thanks!!***

  1. Brilliant post, Jenny! I am so impressed with how you find all these great images and match them to sources. I keep thinking of you as we are at the cusp of graduation and considering home ownership and an actual chance to really decorate.

  2. I would go with the Danish Linen to slipcover my newly acquired sofa from Craiglist. I love color and pattern, but just realized last night that is all I have in my fabric stash.

  3. I've been dying to recover my craiglist score Room & Board chairs in something funky but classic – like a Suzani or Ikat fabric. this giveway is write on time!

  4. Ooh, how fun – I just finally learned how to use my new sewing machine and need some pillow fabric… Love the Cornwall pattern.

  5. I love L&S and visit everytime I
am in Atlanta. I am lucky to have
kids there. I have being eyeing
the linen sudan in sage to cover
    an armless chair. Great giveaway

  6. Where do I start? Seriously… I have about 20 bookmarks saved on my computer of potential fabrics for curtains and pillows. So this giveaway would be perfect!

  7. Love your choices, but I really love the union jack fabric. I have wanted to have a little spash of the UK in the form of a pillow.

  8. I love the zebra fabric, i've actually been looking for some since I saw that ottoman so that i could recover mine with it too!

  9. Wow! Great Giveaway! I need to recover a wingback chair, and kept coming up with new favorites as I clicked around the site. I would love to use Canterbury in Fiesta for the chair & a pillow to toss on the sofa in the room. It's such a bright & fun fabric.

Thanks for hosting this giveaway and for such a great post! I love how you found such fantastic copycats for the designer fabrics.

  10. Wow! I've been visiting L&S for a long time, but never thought to look for an online component. Thanks for bringing it to my attention! I'd get some of that great '60-ish orange floral fabric (romantically named "20982") just to play around with in my house. Thanks!

  11. I know it's really boring, but I need a basic linen (neutral slubby linen or Perth in pale blue) to back some throw pillows. I'd get a great braided or pom pom trim, too!

  12. So difficult to choose! But I would love to cover a summer couch with pillows in Giraffe and Khandar from L&S! Fingers (and toes) crossed . . .

  13. I have 3 outdoor chairs that I am desperate to make cushions for so I'd definitely go with one of their outdoor prints! great post! thank you!

  14. This was difficult! But, I have two chairs begging to be made over and one of them would look great with the Savini fabric.

  15. What a coincidence. I was just trying to sell my husband on the Oshie fabric in navy for our kitchen curtains! I hope I win!

  16. Beautiful fabrics! I love all their Ikat fabrics, especially Bedazzle. Which would look great on an ottoman I am planning on covering!

  17. LOVE! I'd go for the green geometric print on some pillows for a pop in my family room!
    Thanks for the giveaway :)

  18. I love paisley! Maybe the Bennington… I'd love to recover a cool ottoman for my living room. I'm in an updating process and that would really help out!

  19. I would use the fabric to make some amazing, dramatic, floor length curtains. I love their contemporary fabrics – maybe the mateo pattern?
