A couple months ago, Pier 1 invited me to stop into their 5th Ave store to take photos of my favorite holiday wares. It was so much fun that I jumped at the chance to stop in again to see their new spring line. And guess what? Pier 1 is offering up a $500 gift card to one of you lucky readers!
Want to see what caught my eye at Pier 1? I was pretty impressed by their outdoor furniture line. We have a rooftop deck and I think some of these pieces would look great up there now that the weather is warming up. I loved this pretty rattan chair with the creamy white cushion:

I also loved this wing back style wicker chair:

There was a settee in this style too that I also really liked.

For my outdoor space, I would mix a pair of one of the rattan chairs from above with a couple of fun accents chairs, like this scrolled peacock chair:

Or a pair of these teal lacquered arm chairs:

I also really liked this little wooden accent chair:

I would also throw in a fun outdoor rug or two:

And speaking of rugs, I really loved this wool ombre rug:

I was impressed with the quality of the wool given the price…

There were some really fun accessories at the store too, like this backgammon table:

And these enamelware canisters in a pretty mint/jade color. I like the more modern font.

I couldn’t resist buying one of these beautiful bowls.

They sort of remind me of a giant clam, but are a little more functional and can be used in the kitchen. Also these would be great for larger flower arrangements.

I really love these marbled glass tumblers, but I couldn’t decide between the acid yellow or the cornflower blue.

I picked up a set of these porcelain mushrooms for the built-ins in my girls room:

Wouldn’t this chest of drawers be great painted or leafed?

I love the serpentine shape.

There were some really amazing chair offerings at Pier 1. Check out this bergere style arm chair:

The quilted paisley fabric feels very Anthropologie, but at a fraction of the price.

Sort of a rustic Louis style chair:

This is one of my favorite finds of the day. $160 for a really lovely slipper chair. The pattern on the fabric will mix really well with other patterns and colors.

This chair was another favorite. It was really comfortable and a complete steal at $370. I would put a pair in a living room with a solid, more neutral sofa. I would also add some brass casters to the feet.
Isn’t that fabric fun? And I love how it pairs with the Lulu DK-esque brown velvet pillow (which is on sale for $18).

  1. First off, I have to say, I Love your nailpolish! If that was from Pier 1 I would buy that!
    But Ohhh!!! the Josette chair is LOVE! If that was from anthropologie it would cost $1199.95 instead of 199.95. I Want that chair!

  2. Rugs! Rugs! Rugs! I would love their Wide Sunset stripe rug or even the multi-chandelier moss rug!! Oh and with the rest of the money I would buy lovely outdoor decorations…I love their stuff and keeping my fingers crossed I win!!!

  6. I spent way to much time this morning "drooling" over the Pier1 website. I have always enjoyed their stock. First I would get 2 Twisted wood table lamps for our end tables by our bed. Second I would get a floor twisted lamp for our living room. Fourth would have to be the Daffodil Table which is just beautiful. Love the compass wall decor pieces also. I would also get the silk window panels in Aqua as I am hoping to change our red living room decor to a blue color when we move the next time. Since I have already spent all of my money I would finish up my shopping with this cute Embroidered Bird Pillow (which my husband will make fun of me for, but yet sill worth it)!!!

  8. Oh I really would love a new accent chair for our reading nook and love that Lilliana chair. I would also love some fun pillows. I also LOVE that white bowl that you got, I would put our fruit in it on our kitchen island. Great giveaway!!

    I would get the Ronan Pedestal Extension Table in white. I need a dinning room table desperately! I also love the Hibiscus Wing Chair. I'm sure I could find a place for it!

  20. How exciting! I would either get a pair of the peacock tufted chairs for each head of my dining table OR two of the sawhorse desks for my new home office. I'd spend whatever's left over on clay plush pillows, the antiqued red wall clock, and/or one of their sunburst mirrors.

  42. I love the chasca coffee table. I would also want a new chair for my living room but it is such a tough decision, I am not sure which one yet.   48. Wow! Incredible giveaway! I had so much fun browsing their site! I think I'd load up on home accents – love the large black easel, scroll burst wall decor, apothecary jars, birdie wall hook, some cute blush glass knobs. And then I'd also love a few of those Jardin de Marie outdoor chairs!
